This is a wonderful place to stay, I came in after driving 25 hours and the owner was so accommodating getting me into a room early so I could rest. Wonderful family owned business that really focuses on customer service!

Very clean room right in the center of town. Friendly staff, and convenient check-in and check-out. This stay encouraged me to support local hotels and motels over the overpriced big chain establishments. I recommend San Juan Motel to every visitor to Anacortes.

San Juan Motel: An Oasis of Comfort and Warmth
My stay at the San Juan Motel was an absolute delight! From the moment I arrived, late at night, I was met with genuine warmth and friendliness by Rani at the front desk. Despite the late hour, she went above and beyond to ensure a smooth check-in process, making me feel welcome and right at home. Rani's exceptional customer service set the tone for the entire experience. Her attentiveness, helpfulness, and positive attitude were truly commendable. The room itself exceeded my expectations. Far from a typical motel room, it was more akin to a spacious two-room suite. The elegant décor and comfortable furnishings created a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The cleanliness and attention to detail were also evident, further enhancing my stay. The San Juan Motel is a hidden gem that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay. The combination of spacious rooms, excellent customer service, and a friendly atmosphere makes it a truly special place. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Rani for her outstanding service. She truly made my stay exceptional and went the extra mile to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. It is an aged property but reasonably clean and a hard to beat price. The rooms we've had here typically include a small kitchenette and two large beds. Short walk to restaurants downtown.

Older property but is good shape the room had been renovated recently with vinyl floors and the cooking area had been updated. There was a two burner cooktop, microwave and apartment sized fridge and a small coffee maker. The only downside was that there was no dishes. The owners lent us a couple plates and we went out and purchased a frying pan. WiFi was very good in the front bedroom area but was very limited in the back bedroom. The unit was clean and any concerns we had were resolved quickly. We have already booked our next stay with them.

Awesome and friendly stay
The check in was great. Showed up early but they helped us anyway, parking, keys and checked to see when the room would be ready which was about an hour and a half. The room was spacious and comfortable for the night we stayed. Second time we have stayed there and we will be back.

Close to downtown area with lots of restaurants. Very convenient place for boater using the Capsante Marina. Old and tired vut clean, and friendly staff. Our room had a full size refrigerator, stove and microwave, even though we did not request these options. We will e back.

Accommodating late check in, and mostly clean. Lots of broken and nonfunctional fixtures. 2 TVs: one completely nonfunctional, the other would turn on and get one station only. One lamp w broken switch. And one window latch missing a piece so would not open on hot night - and no AC. Looks like recently refurbished rooms and then never maintained thereafter
