Really inpressed with how nice and centrally located everything is to this hotel. The subway station, grocery store, and convenient store can be access without leaving the building. And Dotonbori is about a 5min walk from the hotel! Great for late night sightseeing and food tasting.

Its a bit hard to find from the JR Shin Osaka underground station, but once we found the hotel, it was a very pleasant surprise. The chic and classy lobby is on the 22nd floor. Check-in was very efficient and our request to have adjoining rooms was granted. The rooms were very clean, the only thing was the hotel restaurants were a bit on the pricey side, just not in our budget at this time. The rooms were a good size, althougha microwave would have been useful, since there was a supermarketon the basement floor with lots of very cheap take out food. . The room has views of Shinsaibashi, Dotonbori to the left and Tsutenkaku tower to the right. They were simply fantastic, especially at night. Very walkable to the places I mentioned, and lots of good eateries in the area. Finally it's also connected to the OCAT bus station, where we took our bus to Kansai International for our plane trip home. Very convenient for transportation, especially if you have heavy luggages.

Booked a king size bed, the bed was a small double and had a 2" gap at one side if the bed to get out, so you had to climb over the other person to get out. Very dark walls and floor made it very and dismall . Other rooms seem to be upgraded but not all

Awesome location grocery store within the same building and train station as well. The staff were amazing. Impeccable service definitely I am coming back and I will be staying in the same hotel.

This hotel location is the best! It is located in the same building complex JR Namba and bus terminal! A lot of shops and restaurants are walkable! Service is excellent!! Staff is friendly and patient!

High end hotel - very nice look and feel. Plus side: close to public transport - it's on top of a metro station with a mega shopping center, many restaurants and a full size grocery store. Terrific view of Osaka from any room 22 stories in the air. (Lobby is on floor 22, rooms are floors 23-31 of an Osaka office tower). Minus side: Room was tiny and staff has almost no command of English. Just enough room for 2 adults with 2 suitcases to cram into a double. Still, a really nice property.

Good location. Very near JR Namba and Namba station. Supermarket near by. 10 min walk to Kuromon market and Dotonbori. Next to OCAT which makes it convenient to take airport limo bus. Clean and new fittings. But shower head too small and bathroom sink too low. Linen not soft. Overall I enjoyed the stay.

Fantastic location for Dotonburi Street and the main metro line back to Osaka station. Great location for day trips (Shinkansen to Hiroshima) and Universal Studios Japan / Nintendo world. Would absolutely stay here again. Amazing size room for the price paid

The staff was unbelievable here. Anything you needed, they got for you. We brought extra suitcases and they got us a cab, took it all down for us and helped communicate with the driver

This property was kind of dirty- the room we got was super small even by Japan standards for a double and the bed sheets seemed not clean. Also there was large cigarette burns in the curtains in our room and it reeked of cigarettes as well. It was in a very convenient location- but that’s mainly the only plus side. This place was probably really nice in the early 90s but needs a ton of rennovation

I hope they have rooms that have shower rooms with flat floors instead of bathtubs. It would be a lot convenient for PWDs or elderlies.

- Stayed here 4x in total given its central to Dotonbori - Its near JR NAMBA, NAMBA sub-ways - Easy to get to Nara / Kyoto and other stations - Also there is a supermarket below which closes at 12am which is helpful instead of goin to the 7/11 or Lawson - Each time I go I'm reminded why I prefer this hotel - Dotonbori is a quick walk under Namba Subway to exit 14-16

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Monterey Grasmere. It was close to everything and having the metro station right below the hotel was very convenient. The breakfast was a bit on the expensive side but it was amazing and you get a great view of the city. I'll definitely come back and stay with them again if I come back to Osaka.

Nice hotel. Best part is it is right next to the Namba subway station so it was very easy to get around with transit. Close walk to Dotonbori area as well. The breakfast is fabulous!!

Hotel is placed in a convieient area just to the side of Dotonburi. Its not super busy but has a lot around it for all your needs. Facility is fancy and the rooms are great. Customer service was amazing and helped with all my needs, even when I arrived really early from an overnight bus, they did what they could to accommodate me as best as possible. Would stay again.
