Great Hotel
I love this hotel , I work in the area and need a stopover in Aberdeen every week, i make a beeline for this place first of all and ive stayed in lots in and around Aberdeen

Staff very friendly & helpful. Evening meal enjoyable. Prices very reasonable. My husband & I enjoyed our stay. Can recommend the hotel for comfort, price & friendly helpful staff. The accommodation is in a separate building very close by, behind the restaurant & bar & because of this it is very quiet.

Not what I was hoping for
The annexe where the rooms were wasnt very nice and didn’t feel very safe. The room itself had a stale smell and didn’t look like the rooms advertised on the website. It was dated and dingy.

Décoration de la chambre inexistante. Certaines chambres sont vétustes, d'autres rénovées. Elles mériteraient d'être agrandies. Mauvaise gestion du chauffage. Température dans la chambre soit bien trop chaude (fin de journée et nuit), soit glaciale (en journée car mauvaise isolation et chauffage arrêté). Personnel plutôt disponible et accueillant. Propreté satisfaisante. Restaurant attenant à l’hôtel très accueillant, cosy, et joliment décoré. Ambiance chaleureuse.

Great location
We needed a place to stay north of Aberdeen and convenient for our work. This place worked a treat and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We will stay again.

It was a good place to base yourself for the north east . The motel (not a hotel or b&b ) was ok , a bit overpriced and the walls were paper thin , did not go in pub as the 4 adults sitting on the corner with their children could not be bothered to move and the back entrance was always being used for cigarette breaks . The room was nice and clean

Apologies that you felt you could not use the bar facilities the back entrance leads in to a public bar so it my have been patrons of the bar that you viewed smoking, but we do have a lounge bar that I am sure you would have found to have a very pleasant atmosphere.

Staff very helpful
They washed our clothes and there was no charge. Food was good sent to a local craft brewery while our rooms were prepared.

Terrible smell, musty and damp.
I have shared this review on another site as I had booked with them for one night then at a later date booked with Expedia for a second night. After the shock of arriving there on the Thursday I immediately called Expedia and explained about this hotel. I asked if I could change my booking for the Saturday night to ANY other hotel in Aberdeen or the surrounding area they had on their site the absolutely refused. Poor show and I will not use them for booking hotels again. OMG the smell, musty, dusty and damp. The accommodation is in a block out the back of the hotel. Thin walls, I could hear the conversation the man in the next room was having on his phone. Oh and he snores. Old fashioned furnishings, a single wardrobe with no door. Rubbish pillows, lumpy foam. Half a headboard, two sockets, one beside a bed in line with the mattress and one at the foot of the other bed. Neither suitable for plugging in the kettle. And did I mention the smell. Absolutely nothing like the picture on the website. Bathroom was ok. It says at the door to take off your work boots, says it all really.

An ideal spot
Close to the city of Aberdeen yet a walk away from a beautiful beach and nature reserve. Only a short drive from other beaches and reserves. Aberdeen Hotels are over priced because of the nature of business carried out there. This hotel was much lower in price for rooms and food than anywhere else I have stayed in Aberdeen and the staff were very friendly to boot. A place I will book again for my next visit. Just hope when Mr Trump builds his golf complex nearby they do not change the outlook

Voordelig hotel met gedateerde kamers in apart gebouw. Personeel vriendelijk, 1 eetzaal modern ingericht. Ontbijt en diner pima verzorgd, maar mensen die luxe verwachten moeten ergens anders heengaan.
