The room itself is fine, but I encountered issues with the water temperature fluctuating in the shower. It's very difficult to control, especially during the winter season. Additionally, the location of the hotel is not very convenient for traveling in Bath, even if you have a car. (The center of Bath is always prone to traffic jams.) Overall, I believe the value of this selection is not good.

酒店設施好,離車站要走半小時,侍應服務勁差,又不能提早入住,我到達時間是二時半,要等到三時半才能入住,如要即時入住,要額外收費二十英鎊,十一時要退房。早餐是自助餐,侍應給我餐牌選擇食物,當我等待期間她又去服侍一個剛剛入十來的客人,難道我要等她服務她完才能答覆我,她帶有種族歧視,應該不錄用。

This is not a 5 star Hotel the breakfast set up was a joke the staff were running around like headless chickens the food in 1st morning was Luke warm at best the coffee served was not drinkable and others were complaining the same ! the table set up was not good no sugar? Milk Salt Pepper mills not set out! toast machine inadequate for capacity of guests the spar area was not relaxing as on the day we attended local spa members apparently can bring in there children to use the facilities and they were left out of control and was not able to enjoy the use of the pool. The outdoor thermal spar bed was very scruffy large cracks around the perimeter and sharp edges of lots of missing mosaic tiles ? Had to wait around 15min at front desk to checkout as only 1 position open at 9am out of 4 and had to wait behind a guest before me complaining of much more than the above shame as it could be a lot better

The surrounding area is lovely, but the properties not very well maintained. Lots of things didn’t work in the room as expected and when I called for maintenance they didn’t actually fix any of the problems. The food and drinks are high and pricing, but the service was not very good. The spa is about as good as a massage, envy, but at five star prices.

Overall good break Only downfall was zero communication prior to the trip as the reception phoneline was down for over 9 days. Difficulty in getting any info or messages to the reception desk. Being a 5 star I expected this issue to be sorted much quicker. Apart from that happy days.

For the price charged this hotel really needs to up it's level of service. We stayed for 2 nights, to visit the Christmas market and celebrate my wife's 60th birthday. We arrived 30 mins before check-in time, greeted politely and then just told to "come back at 3.30", no suggestions of where we could wait, so we waited in reception and saw three more people arrive, check-in and given their rooms immediately! When we were given our room, there was no explanation as to the facilities, or where they were. There is a spa here and that wasn't mentioned. Our room was not serviced after the first night, someone from housekeeping knocked on our door in the early evening asking if our room had been serviced and if not, would we like it serviced now, we declined. We dined in the restaurant Sunday evening. The food was good, although service was slow. We were asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu and we said yes, but then we were forgotten and I had to go and ask again. After ordering, one of the desserts was incorrect. When corrected it came back without the ice cream! The cheese was served straight from the fridge, so was chilled and lacked flavour. All minor points, but too many for a hotel that strives to a 5 star standard.

A lovely place to stay.
This is a beautiful hotel within walking distance of the town centre. We had a lovely time and enjoyed the spa area very much. I do think that they might be a little understaffed however as there was always a queue at reception. Our luggage did go missing for a while and we were told it had been taken to the wrong rooms! This was quickly rectified. Another small thing was cold plates at the hot food counter at breakfast. Overall though we had a lovely time.

A three-night stay. Lovely situation and a pleasant walk into the city centre. A comfortable hotel with great spa facilities. However the service was poor with Reception understaffed. We had to go and find staff when we had a light supper in the bar. Breakfast had a good selection but the cooked-breakfast selection was not kept hot and items were dried out. Items were not quickly replenished, leaving you with half your breakfast getting colder on what were cold plates to start with. One morning the plates were dirty and had to be sent back. Some members of staff were good others were poor. Our bill came under the door and was incorrect having not subtracted the money paid by Hotels.com.

Expected more, Ok but not great, not great value
Last minute booking of a garden room, and hotel was fully booked. No view from room, tiny TV didn’t work, sink plug didn’t work. Felt like a room they only use when fully booked. General sense was room was dated and a bit tired. Service was ok, not exceptional.

Very expensive for what was available No mini bar. Too many non residents in pool. Outside pool area needed attention. Discretionary charges added for everything - needed to check bill thoroughly at end of stay. Room needed a refurb - paint work poor carpet dirty. Cost to eat in dining room expensive - bottle of wine plus main £115 - left leaving hungry. Positive staff friendly and helpful.

For the price charged, this was pretty disappointing. Some points: 1. Room not cleaned properly rubbish in bin, shampoo in the bottles, half used packets of sugar. 2. Breakfast on both days was chaos, took 50 minutes to be served on second day. 3. I appreciate it’s a spa hotel, but people walking round public areas in dressing gowns (and sometimes less) is just weird 4. Decor is very tired, paintwork on doors is scuffed and blackened where staff have kicked to open.

Feels rather tired
Lovely staff but the hotel feels tired, especially the bathroom and the spa facilities. We enjoyed our stay but would not return until it’s had a refurb
