Thanksgiving in Blair

Our family had Thanksgiving in this beautiful old house. There was plenty of room for everyone to play . The parking was adequate, bedrooms were very large with deep walk-in closets. The children’s room upstairs was a hit with the TV, whiteboard, employee area.

Great place for families

The house has been beautifully renovated and was a great space for our family. It is near a busy intersection in Blair but the road noise wasn’t bothersome for the most part.

My Brother’s Wedding

My Brothers wedding was this weekend in Blair. This was a beautiful house, it felt so homey there. The kitchen was beautiful. There was plenty of space for all of us to move around and play games with our kids!

Fantastic family gathering space

We had the pleasure of being the first family to stay at this marvelous house. The building itself is clean and modern and very welcoming and warm. The owners did a fantastic job of designing and making this place a great place to stay. Although Blair doesn’t offer a whole lot in the ways of recreational opportunities, this was a perfect place for our family who just wanted to spend some time after the holidays together. We will be back.

Great Chritmas Experience

We had a great family time at the VRBO home in Blair, NE. The spaces allowed us plenty of time together as famiy, but the bedrooms were spacious enough to allow us quiet time and separation. The kitchen was nicely equipped and the young ones enjoyed hanging out at the island , keeping track of food prep! The arcade room, the convertable dining table/ping pong table/pool table just took the experience over the top! Our landlord/hosts were very accommodating. We would definitely consider a VRBO stay, and a stay in Blair.

Great House, Nice Town, Poor Location

Our kids loved the game room, and the rooms were nice. Overall the house is very nice. The town is also a very nice small town with great people. Billy’s Cafe is excellent! When we got there the code to get in wasn’t working and it took 24 hours to fix. And the house is located directly on a busy intersection and right by train tracks. Every semi truck, train, and loud car made it very difficult to sleep.

Perfect!

We rented this lovely house as a home base for our daughter's wedding at the Red Barn Chapel. We had family coming in from Omaha, Gretna, and Lincoln who needed a place to stay or get ready. The house is spacious and perfect for our family group! The main floor bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom has a great shower. Other family members enjoyed the spaciousness of the upper level. And the kitchen! I wish we could take it home with us! It worked out great to lay out breakfast and lunch on the island for the bridesmaids and groomsmen.There was some traffic noise, but we just left the TV on, and others played music if needed. The family loved having Taco Bell across the street for the post-wedding snacks!Brad was super helpful! We would definitely stay again!

Overpriced and bad location

We originally booked this location because we wanted additional space for the kids and thought it was priced reasonably to provide that option. After all the additional charges (in the end the charge was double what it should have been), we could have purchased extra rooms at the hotel down the street where it would have been quieter at night. This house is right in the middle of town at a busy intersection. Semi trucks run all hours of the day and the train tracks nearby left us with very little sleep. The updates in the house were fine, but it didn't make up for the sleepless nights, drafty windows, and difficult check-in. When I tried to reach out to the host, and didn't get a response until the next day because they were "out for the holiday" left us frustrated! If you are in this industry, you should be able to accommodate your guests, even on a holiday!

Noisy

This property is at the intersection of 2 busy highways. Yard was not mowed, dead branches in the yard and on house. Couldn't park in garage, as a table was setup in it. For the cleaning fee being charged it should have been alot cleaner, we vacuumed it our selves. No notebook with instructions on locking 3 deadbolts, mainly the key pad, it didn't work properly. Nothing on front porch to sit on. Upstairs stool seat was broke, downstairs shower door didn't stay shut, so floor become wet. Games didn't all work or was missing pieces. Pool table you hit wall when playing. Living room had a sectional only for sitting for visiting.

Beautiful Home

In town for my son’s wedding, needed space to spread out and relax during our down time. Beautiful older home, with amazing kitchen. Everything we needed and more. Home is on a busy road, if a light sleeper might consider sound machine. Had a great time!
