Extremely friendly staff, great with our dog - made us feel so welcome and like we were regulars. Nothing was too much trouble.

Such a unique property. Staff was so friendly, a very cosy atmosphere. The food was fantastic! The rooms were clean and comfy. Definitely would recommend!

Room was very clean with good comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only negative point was shower was very poor, however new shower head would resolve problem.

Hotel room without a key
Nice hotel. Ok price. But it was too bad that we could not get a key to our room. Thus we had to worry about our valuables while we were eating dinner. And of course no compensation ! Some discount or a free drink would have helped.

Lovely stay
Comfy room. Really nice staff who were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely breakfast and evening meal. Definitely recommend.

Flying visit!!!
A very (very!) short visit - booking in was very easy, room was clean and comfy, biggest bath I’ve ever seen, powerful shower (if a little noisy!!) Sadly I was out working, so arrived back at midnight, and out again before breakfast, so can’t comment on the food !

Worth a visit when in the area.
We were at the Mill House with friends and had a lovely time. Staff were very obliging and the meal and breakfasts were excellent.

Great wee hotel in convenient location
Friendly staff and clean hotel. The room was a bit dated and the shower is quite noisy when operating. But this did not hinder my stay and overall I found it satisfactory. The food was OK. I had a pizza which seemed to be made fresh in house but I don't think they seasoned the dough enough as it did not have much flavour to it. But the beer and friendly atmosphere more than made up for this.

Great staff Great food -
Last minute booking Room clean ,bed comfy, food excellent , staff helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Resultant and bar area nice but corridors and rooms/ bathrooms clean and functional but tired in areas. We had both dinner and breakfast at hotel and both were fantastic - breakfast was amazing and so much food didn’t eat again all day Room looked out on to buildings and a make shift sitting area of metal tables and chairs , which were occupied by we presumed guests sitting smoking, swearing and drinking from bottles of alcohol not from bar all evening, so opening the room window was not possible. On being shown to room were told of quicker way back to main hotel - which turned out to be a path through overgrown area past unused house and portacabin. Areas outside need to be improved

The room was quite noisy, despite being a long way from the bar and restaurant. No net curtains meant we could not leave the blind up whilst changing in the room. Friendly staff, reasonable prices in the bar. Decent breakfast.

Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to assist throughout our stay. The food was excellent and very good value. The hotel was very clean however the rooms were basic and could do with some modernisation in the en-suites. Lots of on site parking! I would definitely stay here again!
