「Don't be daunted with the fact that there isnt a grocery store or ATM in Gimmelwald! There are 2 bars across the street with pizza and drinks. A quick cable car to Murren for a Food Co-op or cable and bus to Lauterbrunnen for another Co-op which both have all you need is easy!The views, the peaceful quiet is amazing! All one hears are the bells of goats/cows. Love Love this place! comfortabnle, and very clean! Very attentive, manager onsite when we arrived! Highly recommend! 」

「Voici un gîte que je recommande. Très pratique, dans une commune avec des commerces et une gare. Les alentours sont magnifiques sans être touchés par le sur-tourisme. Je me suis régalé sur mon vélo ! J'ai été très bien reçu. Le gîte est situé dans un coin très tranquille, au bord d'une route en impasse et très peu fréquentée.」

「I did not realize this flat was in the mountains! I just saw that it had enough space for 6. The location was an added bonus! Spectacular views! And the house itself was incredible! So spacious and relaxing. 」

「Der Aufenthalt war die lange Anreise wert. Wir wurden sehr herzlich aufgenommen und der Blick auf die Berge war immer wieder aufs Neue schön. Selten waren wir so entspannt im Urlaub. Interessant war auch der Einblick in den Alltag eines Milchviehbetriebes. Die Abstecher nach Bern und Luzern haben uns auch sehr gut gefallen. Unser Gesamtprädikat: Sehr empfehlenswert. 」

「Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung war bequem und gemütlich. Die Kinder konnten super mit dem Hund spielen und haben sich sehr über die Baby Kätzchen und Lämmer gefreut. Die Lage fanden wir sehr gut: im grünen aber nicht zu abgelegen.」

「The house is half way up a mountain with a spectacular view. I liked to spend time sitting on the balcony outside my bedroom looking down into the valley. The view includes the Lauerzersee and Zugersee lakes with the towns, villages, roads and railways around them. Surrounding this are green hills and mountains all around (in October). 「Tolle Ferienwohnung im 2. Stock eines grossen, altern Bauernhauses. Die Küche ist etwas klein aber praktisch eingerichtet und mit allem Notwendigem ausgestattet. Da wir viele Leute waren, konnten wir den grossen Gartentisch sehr gut gebrauchen.」
