A peaceful and comfortable hotel with very nice meals in the downstairs restaurant. This was a lovely place from which to explore Cairngorms National Park. Staff was friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend the hotel to friends!

Great Hotel
Lovely 3 night break at Cairn Hotel our first visit and will certainly return. Really good service with a smile from everyone we encountered.The quality of food was excellent and breakfast compared favourably to a recent stay in a 5* hotel

Super little hotel in a lovely village
Great little hotel, very friendly with a super bar and restaurant. Bed was very comfortable and room was spacious and clean. Take a walk along the Riverside walk and into the woodland walk to see all the amazing wood sculptures.

I made a mistake on my booking and they kindly moved me to another room on day two with no charge . They couldn’t be more helpful . The rooms are not the grandest but the helpfulness of the owner and staff more than makes up for a bit of room tiredness .

Single room was adequate for a few nights. Struggled to get the tea/coffee milk replenished. Breakfast no information given around timings. Only seemed to be able to get cooked breakfast and hot drinks. Shame cereal options would of been good.

Always one of my favourite hotels. Proper Highland hotel. Fantastic warm welcome every time. Great value and the breakfast is the best around

It’s a great little hotel, they have clean rooms and bathrooms. The staff are awesome, the only real downside is, if you’re not keen on what’s on the menu for breakfast or dinner, you’re 20miles from where the stuff you want is. But on a positive note, that stuff is either where you’re headed to, or where you’re coming from so I just ate my meals at the towns on Loch Ness before returning. But you may want what’s on the menu and that not be an issue.

Nice hotel, clean, with nice bar, good food and decent selection of ales. The radiator in my room wasn't working but I found an electric oil filled radiator in the wardrobe.

Quite close to the scenic old pack bridge. A few places to eat, both onsite and close by. Staff very knowledgeable about hiking in the area and were able to give us input on our Meall a' Bhuachaille hike.

Lovely quaint bed and breakfast. There were some nice wooded trails nearby and the breakfast was very nice. Everything was clean and enjoyed the chocolates offered with the tea.

Comfortable accommodation and good hospitality.
Very happy with the standard of accommodation for the price I paid, and was upgraded from single to double room. Staff gave friendly and helpful service. Excellent breakfast and I highly recommend the hotel restaurant for evening meals. Great location for exploring the area.

Nice rooms, friendly staff.
Nice and big rooms, quiet locatio , smart tv in room. Friendly staff, bar opened until midnight. Unfortunately the restaurant prices was way to high, like £12 for a burger or £4.50 for a pint of beer. Also, i was charged twice, don't understand why.
