I liked everything especially the employees, except that they didn’t provide an electric kettle in the room especially in the mornings when your body depends on coffee or hot water for tea to wake up properly.

The only reason this hotel doesn't get 5 stars is because the rooms need better insulation. If your neighbor is listening to music, you're listening to music. If someone gets back to their room late at night, you are likely to wake up. Our particular room needed the shower door fixed because it didn't close and would get water on the bathroom floor. Other than that, the staff is AMAZING!!! They go above and beyond to be friendly and welcoming. I would come back to this hotel just for them. There is direct access to the beach. The view from the balcony room is gorgeous. The area is safe and easy to walk to stores and restaurants. The breakfast changes every day and is really tasty.

We were very happy with our stay at the Dann hotel for eight nights. The staff is very helpful and friendly. There is security and taxis are always available outside. The breakfast is delicious. The pool is lovely. A special thank you to Yuranis, Carmelo and Luis in the restaurant. They were so friendly at breakfast time, we felt very welcome.

One if the few nice hotels actually on the beach (where you don’t have to cross the street). The staff was wonderful. The breakfast (with daily omelette bar and fresh juices) was excellent. More umbrellas and lounge chairs are needed by the pool.

Amazing small hotel with all the amenities and located just steps from the beach. The rooms were spacious and we had a wonderful view. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good with enough choices and fresh fruit. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it. It was close enough to the walled in city, we often walked from the hotel (45mins) or you can take a taxi for about $5. The beach had many vendors but we would stay at the pool and just walk to the beach whenever we wanted to go for a swim.

This property is perfect for beach lovers, it is located on the beach in Laguito and has spectacular view of Boca Grande strip to the Walled City. Excellent Staff and pool area, great ocean front restaurant (El Muelle) just a short walk to beach. One of few hotels with balcony on beach, no roadway like must on Boca Grande strip.

Absolutely loved this hotel. We got the suite with the balcony view of the city and the room and balcony were both so spacious. Brando the pool bartender was the sweetest! But also EVERYONE who works there were so nice and helpful to us. The neighborhood itself is noisy but that’s Cartagena for you. We walked a lot, you have a lot of vendors coming up to you but we never felt unsafe. And if we did, we know we could count on the hotel staff to assist us.

I really loved this hotel. The view is to die for and the staff OMG… soo attentive even tho their English is a little limited they really try and they go above and beyond. Breakfast is included and is so good. Not just dry goods you get fresh omelets etc. The hotel is located right on the beach so you have easy access and they also have great dining options around. They clean the room daily and do a great job. The only thing that I noticed was the upkeep of the hotel. Like dusting and painting, then again it’s not a new hotel. So nothing too major.. oh yeah bathrooms are kinda tiny.. lol but clean

the bed was very comfortable, and the room very clean, the breakfast was delicious, the hotel did not have beach chairs or umbrellas and the ones for rent were very old.
