Beautiful Flat in the Centre of Town
We had a fantastic weekend staying in the Baker’s Flat.
The location in Blackjack Street is excellent.
It’s right in the centre of this beautiful town and close to shops and restaurants, and yet the flat itself is peaceful and quiet.
Great communication from Maddie the owner, who was really helpful and friendly and very responsive.
Inside, the apartment has been finished to a very high standard.
The open plan kitchen/dining/ living room is light and airy and well equipped.
It’s a really comfortable space to relax in day or evening - looks gorgeous at night with the side lights on.
Upstairs the bedrooms are stylish and the beds comfortable.
We really appreciated the fact we had an en-suite to the main bedroom as well as a separate bathroom. A big plus for us when travelling with our son.
Both bathrooms were great, immaculately clean and everything worked well.
To note is the fact that the stairs to the flat are quite steep and so anyone with mobility problems might struggle.
Also the windows to both bedrooms are fitted with Venetian blinds - clearly to offer privacy whilst not completely blocking the light.
The downside of this is that the rooms become light very early in the morning.
Not a huge problem for us, but it may bother others.
But all in all a really lovely flat and we’ve already booked a return visit.
