I did not like Federico, their employee who drove us to airport and was frequently selling himself for tours and asking for tips. Too pushy!! Alessandro and Marcello were both helpful and pleasant to deal with. Overall the hotel is clean and comfortable.

Next time we'll have an additional attention for overweight people.To try to make you experience here better we offered you a discount on the room rate and a free shuttle to the port but it seems you were not satisfied as well.Hope you are fine, Kind Regards

Vies hotel en zeker geen **** waard
Dit hotel als overnachtingshotel. Kamer in bijgebouw. Kamer en badkamer zijn erg smerig en wordt slecht schoongemaakt. Ruimte is vochtig. Hotel wordt met name gebruikt voor mensen die gaan cruisen. Ontbijt minimaal. Douche en zeepdispensers zijn vies. De verwarmingsplaat in douche ligt een laag zwart vuil Eenpersoonsbed in kamer kun je niet op liggen. Poten wiebelen alle kanten op. Het hele hotel is t.o.v. de sterrenkclassificatie slecht onderhouden. Ik ben een ruim ervaren hotelovernachter, maar dit kan echt niet. Classificatie is maximaal **. Er is verder in Civitavecchia niets te beleven.

Glad it was only 1 night.
Hotel needed a lot of attention as very old, dated and worn. Breakfast very disapointing as food very average. Did not see how this was a 4 star hotel. Area was rather neglected however after 45 min walk into town this did improve.

The owners/staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a festival with loud electronic music close by which ruined the time outside but the upgraded windows of the hotel helped a lot. The decor is in serious need of upgrade. The dated wallpaper and border was peeling and damaged in spots. The old curtains were ugly and the door lock didn’t work. There was dirt/mold at the inside base of bathroom door, but the bathroom and hotel were otherwise very clean. The breakfast was great. I wouldn’t stay there again until they get rid of the ugly dated wallpaper and curtains— an easy fix.

I booked at Borgo del Mare , but when I got there they could not find my reservations even though I had corresponded with them via the Expedia app. They put me and my husband in a lousy 3 star Hotel Trianao downtown that Noisy, Smokey with a very uncomfortable bed. I booked a 4 star and got at best a 2 store hotel. Horrible!

Great little spot
The staff was super friendly and helpful. This is a typical, true Italian experience. The showers and beds are small but the experience was fantastic. Very close ride to the port.

Overnight stop before cruise
The hotel is past its best. The photo makes it look better than it actually is. Good value but not an ‘excellent’ 4 star hotel.
