This resort exceeded our expectations! We stayed in one of the covered wagons and they were so cozy. The beds were so comfortable, the sites were clean and green. The bathrooms were very clean. The resort provides everything needed for the stay: shampoo, conditioner, lotion, fire wood, smores supplies, bicycles, games, theyve thought of it all! We also ate at the restaurant on site and the food was amazing!

I liked that the Conestoga Ranch was in close proximity to everything that we wanted to do. The grounds were kept clean and the bathrooms/shower facilities were always clean. I liked that the staff started the campfires on request and supplied the wood. i did think that the cost was high. The heat was so bad that you really could not go into the wagons until night fall. It would have been nice to have a rec room or someplace to be rescued from the heat. Staying in the heat for the entire day was pretty rough. I do realize this is a campsite, but for the cost, I would have appreciated somewhere on site to cool down. Would go again, but not in July.

Awesome, unique, but not perfect...
Unique accommodation experience. Beautifully kept grounds, friendly service. They drive you in a golf cart to your tent or wagon, so your car is a short walk back down near check in, so you do have to take everything with you. Very nice, individual toilets and shower rooms unlike a conventional campground, however; the bathrooms never seemed just cleaned. And for the cost, you'd expect round the clock, immedaite type maintenance. Overflowing garbage pails, wet floors from previous use of the shower, etc. Acceptable, just not for the price. Fire pit right outsdie your tent for use with complimentary firewood. Family loved it, although it must be extinguished by 11PM. I would stay again , but at half the price of a less popular travel date.

Original . Great service - cart to take luggage to tent and fire lighting service . Good restaurant - make sure you book . The rents do get hot inside in summer during the day . A pool on the site would be great

I liked the central layout of the property. Everything is very walkable. It has a small general store on site next to the reception area. It has a restaurant on site. there is a game area, spa facilities available. (I didn't use the spa due to time limits on my part.) The area felt safe, and I enjoyed the ambience.

Staying in the Conestoga wagon was a fun end to our vacation. Plenty of room for two kids and an adult. Grateful to have a heater on the chilly night, but the heater was loud enough to wake me up every time it came on. Take earplugs and enjoy the fun!

Nice relaxing area. Fun for family. Restaurant is on the more expensive side so it’s unfortunate when you have a large group. Other then that the tents were bigger then I thought and the restrooms are great! They even give you complimentary S’mores. They say it isn’t pet friendly but I have seen groups with dogs.

The tents were beautiful and very clean. The staff was friendly. The "free" smore's kit was a fun surprise! The ride they gave us with our bags to our tent was much appreciated. The public hammock area was peaceful and beautiful. The bathrooms were clean and the soap/lotion/hand sanitizer were a wonderful extra touch.

Cute novelty to try!
Staying in a covered wagon was definitely a unique experience! As for comfort...screen on the door was torn so full door had to be closed to keep bugs out and opening the window required climbing on the bed, so running the fan was a must even though it was a cool night. Staff couldn't find our wagon at first and didn't tell us about any of the services offered so I feel like we may have missed out on fun opportunities but we were only there one night anyway. Clean restrooms with much more privacy than a typical campground/KOA. Not as remote as I imagined from the pictures, so it's easy to access Bear Lake, restaurants, and other essentials. Lawn games and bikes were fun to enjoy. Definitely worth a visit, just ask questions when you arrive!
