We love staying at the Cedar Lodge motel. It's very welcoming and the staff are wonderful. The pool area and gym are very clean and the pool was so warm to swim in. We choose this motel everytime we travel to Goderich from Toronto.

We found the staff very helpful. The premises was clean and well maintained. The pool, jacuzzi, sauna and workout room were well appointed. I woukd stay there again.

The room was extremely clean and roomy. The bathroom was newly renovated with an excellent walk in shower. There was a good sized refrigerator and microwave. Thoughtful details such as individual directed reading lights on both sides of the bed made our stay more comfortable. On the second floor a covered balcony and chairs outside the room doors made a pleasant place to sit in the evening. If you’re on the second floor you access your room by an outside staircase. It was raining when we arrived and we got quite damp going up the stairs but other than that we were very happy with our stay.

For a budget motel, it's very good - considerably above average. Nice staff, clean room, everything works. One thing to note: there is a busy road nearby, which may wake you up early morning. But, I prefer to sleep with open window and AC off, so for many people this road noise would be a non-issue.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was newly renovated and very bright and clean. Beds were good, and there were actually 2 chairs for the two of us! Many motels only provide one chair. The room was very small, as was the bedside table. We could have used a second shelf on the bedside table for storing glasses, phones etc for the night. The bathroom could use a towel rack/hook close to the shower for easy access. Also, there were no hangers, just 4 hooks in the bedroom. Luckily we brought a few of our own hangers. Pool looked lovely although we didn't use it. There were lots of good breakfast options so it didn't matter that the motel had no restaurant.

This is a nice motel, very clean and it was nice that you can sit outside your room and enjoy the beautiful weather. The location was great, close to town, I would recommend this motel to anyone visiting the beautiful town of Goderich✌️🇨🇦

Property is well located with amenities nearby. It was very clean and "as advertised". Staff was friendly and helpful. The bathroom in our particular room (the least expensive) was awkwardly designed making it difficult to sit on and get by the toilet.
