The suite was beautiful and wrll kept, but it was blind luck that we were able to get the keys on our check-in date. We're from Canada, so we had no cell phone to call ahead once in Switzerland, and we had received no email instructions from Griwarent. We arrived at the chalet Friday evening and nobody was there. We found a phone and called the office of Griwarent, but they had just closed. What was worse was that they were closed the following day and Sunday as well! Only by luck did we bump into a Grindarent employee just outside of the chalet. He was very helpful and understanding and went out of his way to get us in. Totally saved the trip to Grindelwald!
On Monday when we officially checked in, the receptionist told us that our check-in information had been texted to us. Perhaps it may help their next customer from abroad if they email or somehow get confirmation from their customer.
Oh, and I seem to remember reading about an administration fee and guest tax, but it was a large sum adding up to almost 2 days rent. Maybe this information was all available to me, but I'm sure it could be clarified as it was an unwelcome expense.
