Welcome to 3 Palms East!

With its close proximity to fun activities, there's no shortage of fun and space at 3 Palms East, a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom, 870 sqft. dog friendly duplex, sleeping 6, located in the heart of Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Large party? You can rent both sides of this duplex! There is an easy access door that connects both properties. Each side sleeps 6 for a total of 12 if you rent the entire duplex.

Even larger party? We also manage the house directly next door (it's called “Hook, Wine, & Sinker”). It sleeps 8. If you rent both the duplex and the house next door, you will have sleeping accommodations for 20.

***This property is dog friendly; however, you must notify the staff that you are bringing your dog along with you. We require and additional dog fee of $250.00 to cover the excess cleaning from dog hair. This is a 2 dog max both 40 pounds or less. ***

The main level offers a cozy living area with new sleeper sofa, love seat, coffee table and coastal décor. The kitchen is fully stocked with all pots, pans, cooking utensils, & plates & glassware you'll need to make yourself at home during your Gulf Shores vacation. Also on the main level is a half bath, small dining table, bar area, and the kitchen opens up to a large deck that is shared with the other side of the duplex. Upstairs you will find the Primary bedroom with a Queen size bed and a Guest Bedroom with a Queen size bed. There is a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The Primary Bedroom opens up to a large balcony that is shared with the other side of the duplex. This duplex is dog friendly with payment of a non-refundable dog fee of $250.00 which covers the extra cleaning required due to dog hair.

BEACHBALL PROPERTIES VACATION RENTAL POLICIES:

RENTAL AGREEMENT: Tenant Vacation Rental Agreement must be electronically signed to secure your reservation. Please read carefully. This is a legally binding document.

NO SMOKING: All properties are non-smoking.

AGE RESTRICTION: Must be at least 25 years older to book a BEACHBALL PROPERTIES vacation rental. A person 25 years or older must be staying at the property for the entire duration of the booking. There will be no refunds issued for anyone booking under false pretenses.

CHECK-IN: Check-in is at 4PM. Early check-in is not possible, sorry but no exceptions.

CHECK-OUT: Check-out is at 10AM. Check out after 10AM will be charged an additional day.

DOG-FRIENDLY PROPERTIES: If you are staying at a dog-friendly property, you MUST notify us and pay a non-refundable dog deposit. Failure to do so will result in us charging your card for the entire amount authorized for damage.

MONTHLY/SNOWBIRD RENTALS: Available from November through February. Call to ask about monthly rates.

PARKING PASSES: 2 car max no passes required.

CANCELLATION POLICY RELAXED: Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in shall receive a 100% refund of the amount they have paid. For cancellations between 14 and 30 days before check-in, 50% of the total reservation costs shall be refunded. For cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the beginning date of the reservation, NO REFUNDS will be issued. Refunds shall not be issued for late arrivals, early departures, or inclement weather conditions including hurricanes and named storms. We do offer optional travel insurance which we highly encourage all guests to purchase.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom. Starter supplies are not intended to last for the duration of your stay. Linens are furnished but please bring your own beach towels.

There was cockroaches in the property, pictures not as advertised, stains on carpet/couch/towels, stairs outside were unsafe. The only thing about the property I liked is that is was in a good area-close to the beach and dining.

It’s was okay. The condo listed as pet friendly but then made me pay an additional pet fee of $250 non refundable. It was high for the property. Holes all in the walls the boards on the patio are rotten made us nervous to walk on. Traffic wasn’t bad an arrived hour early they made my family sit outside in the heat instead of letting us inside the very expensive rental till exactly 4 oclock. Just make good decision this property is very high for the price.

Property was a short walk from the beach, close to stores and shopping, relatively quiet at night except for the dumpsters being emptied before sunrise at the surrounding businesses. Cracked floor and kitchen tiles and a dead cockroach greeting us on the kitchen floor. Property advertises as being pet friendly and pets being welcome, but then they want a $250 "Pet Fee" to be paid before your arrival by calling them to make pet fee arrangements. Read the fine print and choose wisely.

The condo is old. LR furniture filthy and stained, and very uncomfortable. Tile cracked thru out. Wall paper peeling. Lamps without bulbs. AC is cold. It could be cute but def needs updating. Super small TV in LR and in only one BR. TVs are so cheap, this a no brainer.

The location was great and the overall cleanliness was fine. I was disappointed in how outdated the home is. The refrigerator itself was in terrible condition. The outside furniture was rusty and I had to cover the cushions before I sat on them. There is a unit attached to this one. House keeping came in on Saturday at 7 AM to clean the unit next to us and made so much noise. Very rude. We never heard the family that was staying in the unit.

We liked the fact that it was pet friendly and we could take our dog. The accommodations were ok, nothing fancy, but everything we needed. The only problems were that we think the owners should know : that they have paint and wall paper peeling off the walls, there was hair in the tub drain that kept the tub from draining and we had to pull it out to take a shower. The shower rod kept falling down. There are cracked tiles that need to be fixed and there may be a water leak in the area below the unit. The space below the oven door is broken and doesn't close. There are boards on the stairs and decks that are rotten and need to be replaced. These are just a few things we noticed. Also, in light of all this, I think the unit rents for too much. We did enjoy our stay, would come back, if we could afford it!

Extremely disappointed with this property, I felt gross just after few days there. There was dog hair all over our clothes from just sitting on furniture, trash can bins were dirty in the bottom and smelled, didn't even provide a sponge and mini soap to handwash dishes. Most of the dishes looked highly questionable. In general the pictures present a much nicer, newer property, wallpaper and paint peeling everywhere, steps outside safety concern as one was coming up, watch your head on inside stairs as well, fridge and appliances were stained and old, beds were creaky and itchy. Even if you can look past that you'll hear everything the neighbors do, and doors create a vacuum so when people open a door it bangs the adjoining door. My teen heard highly inappropriate conversations and things happening next door. There is no privacy, definitely way over priced for as poor condition and lack of privacy this place has. I've stayed in lots of rentals and this was by far the worst experience.

The dishes were put away dirty. Every dish we took out of the cabinet had dried food or grease on them. There was a skillet in the oven filled with grease. The refrigerator was turned up so high it froze all of our fruits and vegetables. The beds were very comfortable. I would suggest to bring your own dishes and check the refrigerator setting.

My husband and I arrived and immediately remarked how close it is to all kinds of shopping and only have to cross one crosswalk to get to the beach! Very comfortable, just thin walls.

The property managers were wonderful and check in was easy. I would recommend adding to the list of things to bring, dish soap as none was provided. The AC worked perfect. The bed & furniture was comfortable. The washing machine door was broke & couldnt be opened. Although on our 3rd day we had a surprise visit from management and lowes to deliver a new one without any prior notice. As it turns out, it was the wrong washer and they had to take it back, so still no washer. It wasn't a huge deal to us, because we had enough clothes and things to last throughout our stay. The tub and sinks were clogged full of hair that my husband had to clean out so that we could shower and brush our teeth, etc. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls up the stairs. There is rust all up and down the refrigerator. The bottom drawer on the stove is broken and hanging out. The kitchen faucet handle was loose and just spun around, so it was hard to get the right temperature of water. There really wasn't any place to store food other than the counter. The lamp in the master bedroom was loose, so that it did seem to be a potential hazard. We had a problem with the wifi, & after calling the management company and the cable company, I realized that the modem and router that needed to be reset is in the west unit. We are in the east. Luckily we were friendly with the people in the other unit, and they were nice enough to reset it for us so that the tv and wifi would work, but if noone else was in that unit or if you were not friendly with them, you would have a real problem, as there is no way to re-set it from the East side unit. My biggest complaint was privacy. I was aware that it was a duplex, but I guess I didn't realize how bad it would be. There was construction going on behind us, so from 8 am on it was loud, and that isn't exactly a nice view. Since the back door in the kitchen had no curtains, anyone could see inside. Sharing a deck was also hard. Either side could walk over and look in the other's unit if they wanted to. The walls were so thin that you could hear everything that was said, even in a normal tone of voice. Upstairs it sounded like they were in the same room as us. This was supposed to be a couples getaway for us, but it didn't turn out that way. Between the construction, shared deck, thin walls, and lack of blinds downstairs, it was not what I had hoped for. I won't stay here again. Sorry, just not as nice as I thought it would be.

Had a fabulous time and the location was a perfect location for shopping, beach, groceries, coffee, dining. I would stay here again. I would like to note that the coffee carafe had a chip on the lip and the front of the fridge is stained. Beyond those two things all was great. Thank you.

The location was great and bedrooms good size. The sofa was comfortable and I loved the color. Shower was discolored and didn't drain. I pulled a huge bunch of hair out of the drain with rubber gloves and it drained better. Toilets often didn't flush well and had to use plunger a few times. Not having any dressers was poorly planned. The loveseat in the 2nd bedroom made it crowded and needed a dresser. The big table in the main bedroom did not cover for a dresser. The closets were so full of bedding and a quilt rack that we couldn't put anything but a few hanging clothes in it after we bought more hangers. We replaced the porch light and the bedside light in the 2ndbedroom. The overhead light in the 2nd bedroom did not work and couldn't figure out how to replace it. It was nice having a washer and dryer. We would enjoy staying there again if these things were addressed.

First time renting with this property and I’ll have to say I like this better than the huge sky scrapping condos. The beach wasn’t far at all! We hardly had neighbors so the home was quiet. My only complaint was in the upstairs you could hear the neighbors because there’s a door that opens up to that side Incase you rented the entire unit. other than that I loved the property.

The cable was out and the beachball worker came by to try and fix it but no luck. They proceeded to give me a number to call the cable company to have it fixed myself needless to say we were not happy about having a week with no tv!!! I was not about to call and have fixed myself, the cable company gives you a time frame like 1:00- 4:00 that they would come and we were on vacation!!! Not happy about this!!
