Never wrote a bad review about anything, ever in my life. Showed up, checked in, staff told me I needed a "reservation for the pool" to go in, 'sorry, no more reservations'. I was never told this when I reserved the room on Expedia. Went to down with my kids anyway, just 5mins after checking, pool was completely shut down. Went to front office after seeing the pool was completely shutdown, basically I called them out for lying...nothing about a "pool reservation", they were just trying to find away get around the pool was not operational. Looking back, if right from the get go, if they would have been honest from the start, I probably would have been pretty cool about it. Things happen, but they weren't. Front desk staff didn't like what was being pointed out, that I was lied to. And do you know what happening? 12:30am,1:30am, 2am 3:30am 4am...my room phone rang once and hung up. Had a room with a sink, something was in it, smelled so bad in the room when walked in. Tried to figure it out, found it in the sink, ran the disposal, smell lessened after 30 minutes. And the dishwasher was running too for 2 hours after walking in. So, if you can handle dirty rooms, vengeful lying staff...5 Stars!! (Wife took a video of the entire room before we left, that type of staff, that pranks calls a guest, will break something in the room and blame you.) Plenty of options in Hershey to stay, don't click this one. Or stay there, just completely agree and do whatever the staff says.
