Quaint and quiet house with a beautiful rural vibe, you will meet cows and see wildlife :) Lots of space and great laundry room and kitchen. Beds are comfy and both bathrooms spacious (one has a big tub, which the kids loved). Great little firepit with a lovely view. The drive to both downtown Harrison and Branson was an easy and scenic trip.

Our family stayed at the Hen House Hideaway for the Thanksgiving weekend. The property was just as described. It was so peaceful and quiet. The house was perfect for the three of us and we enjoyed our stay. The town of Harrison was very close with plenty of restaurants to choose from. It was a great place to stay.

Great getaway property! Loved the isolation in nature! We enjoyed the fire pit each night under the stars. The house was perfectly spread out with a common area kitchen and eating area. Very clean and enjoyable!

Wonderful place to stay close enough to town far enough to enjoy nature. The cows were great.
The driveway wasn't bad but I would not recommend it to other motorcyclists that aren't comfortable on regular class 5 gravel. This driveway has rocks up to 2" and is quite the experience on a motorcycle.
Would stay again.

Great place located in the country. House is set up well...lots of nice extras. We did have to call for the door code to get in. It had never been emailed to us but the lady at Evolve was nice and got it for us quickly. Overall, great time with family! It's about 45 mins to Branson. Highly recommend Jaime's in Harrison for food.

My husband and i were hoping for a quiet getaway and that exactly what we got! The property is easy to find and about 15min from town. It rests on a hill so you have a beautiful view of the valley and wildlife. The home is as seen in the photo's and had everything we needed while there. We enjoyed the fire oit and corn hole boards. We were able to hang hammocks in the yard and enjoy the peace of the property. Julie the owner was very easy to get ahold of and communicated amazingly. The lock mechanism went out on the main door and julie and her husband were right on it and had it fixed in no time. We truly enjoyed this property and do plan on coming back in the very neqr future!

First off, the owner was great. We were in town for a family funeral and had to find a place to stay last minute. Little did I know VRBO doesn't do same day bookings, so we booked a day later than our intended arrival hoping to get in earlier. The owner was responsive and enabled us to get in on the same day we booked. The owner also remained responsive during the week.
The place is a well maintained farm house. I do think the pictures look a little nicer than the house, but not by much. The house is clean, in great shape, and tucked away from the world in the middle of a farm on top of a hill. I enjoyed sitting outside and being secluded. A gravel road leads out to the house which is common for this type of place. Our van bottom did scrape the gravel going into and out of the property.
It's a nice property and we'll probably stay there again when visiting family.
