Our 2nd visit to Mercure in How An
Considering we paid to be upgraded to a superior room, we must admit to be disappointed both with cleanliness and the bed sheet changes. We paid needlessly and was not happy with doing so, no manager was around to discuss & the girl who signed us our could hardly speak english a big shame!!! It was our wedding anniversary & they were advised of this as we wanted to eat in the hotel as it was our second visit we were promised to be spoilt on our anniversary it did not occur. In fact there was no facility for us to eat as the kitchen was closed. There were noticeable bugs on the corridor on the top floor which were not moved, and in fact increased. Staff had been given notice to finish as the hotel was closing for refurb, and so many were chatting and dissinterested in visitors. I will say breakfast was fabulous the cook and some of the waitresses worked very hard, yet there was a lot of nonsense & chit cha going on in the kitchen. Disappointed in some ways as we had specifically come back here as

Excellent stay at Mercure Hoi An
An excellent stay, very helpful service from all staff. Comfortable and stylish hotel. Good pool. Excellent spa. Convenient location for old town, beach, and very good local restaurants.

Great pool
This hotel had a great pool which is essential if you are travelling with kids. Even though we booked for 3 people there was only 1 bed and I had to pay a lot extra to get a bed moved in. I think this is an Expedia problem - you shouldn't be able to book a room for 3 people with just one double bed in it. Great hotel tho and would definitely go back.

Nice hotel great pool
This is a nice hotel with a great breakfast. It's a little far away from the town but the offer free bikes and it does not take too long to walk. The taxis are also very cheap

Awesome!
Great location, love the free beach bungalows and the hotel pool. Rooms really clean and beautiful big bath to relax in. Highly recommend.

Nice hotel
nice hotel located between the beach and the old town, half hour walk from each, excellent friendly staff, good breakfast, clean well maintained rooms a little dated perhaps, still comfortable however.

Uncompromised comfort with cheap price
Breakfast food is yummy. Staff are helpful in providing local knowledge and when emergency. One staff Phuc helped out to wrap my father's bleeding hand when accident arose. Chic decor. Price is among the cheapest of all Accor hotels.

Not far from ancient city but close to restaurants
Beautiful pool. Comfortable and clean rooms good sized smaller hotel. Only minor gripe was getting pool side beverage and not always cleanup. Would not hesitate to stay there again

Nice hotel but bell boy very cheeky keeps harassing me and my girlfriend for a private car to the airport so he can get extra cash Also lied about not having buses in the town to the airport, would not recommend for couples

Do not stay here.
i stayed at this hotel 3 yrs ago and loved it. But it has changed ownership to the Mercure chain and is in disarray. Unpleasant 4 days with 2 booked rooms- 3 room changes for both our parties due to water/ plumbing problems. It was unnervingly cold in our last 2 rooms - we wore our coats in the room at all times. The staff, although lovely, had no clue how to work the temperature controls. Despite an upgrade the second day to a room with running water, the new room had the same problem. While showering on the last day I was left wet and half clean. My friend's room burst a pipe in the ceiling flooding the bathroom and soaking all his personal items with dubious water. The wireless often goes off necessitating calls to reboot their system. We paid full price for accommodation that was misrepresented as 4 star and I got was a lengthy description of their plumbing problem and an apology via email from the manager (he was away when I asked for him and paid the bill). It was like ordering pizza and getting one with just toppings, no crust "because the baker was sick". Totally unacceptable, especially considering I paid twice the price it cost in 2013 and this property is listed as a 4 star resort.

Resort style hotel near town
The hotel itself was well appointed with a great pool, breakfast was also good. The staff were friendly and helpful overall throughout our stay. Transfers to the beach are included which is a great bonus, the hotel has an arrangement with a beach bar there, usually I'd avoid such set ups viewing them as a bit of a rip off, but actually it wasn't it worked really nicely and I'd recommend. It is worth noting that the hotel offers free bike rental which is a great way to explore the nearby old town. However, be advised that by taking the bike you are fully liable for $150 if anything happens to it - ours were stolen from the town despite being locked and on a busy street. This isn't the hotels fault, but one to consider before taking the bike - it was $300 we didn't plan on spending! One odd thing about the room is that the toilet is in the shower area, more an oddity than an issue!

A little out of Old Town in a non-descript area.
Hotel food was below standard generally, hotel is also a bit tired, was undergoing needed work while we stayed at most times of the day. We upgraded to a poolside room which was better than standard.

hotel was pleasant and but a little dated.
The hotel staff were okay, however upon arrival a staff member wanted us to shop at his sister's business and was quite pushy. Is made us uncomfortable. The hotel could have been better equiped if they had air conditioning in the restaurant and bar. Staff also overcharged us for taxi fares, quoting higher prices and asking us to pay them directly in cash and not to the drivers. Staff need to be more customer focused.

Great stay in Hoi An
I reviewed this hotel on Trip Advisor a couple of days into our stay and we were even more impressed by the end of the stay. The most impressive thing about the hotel is the attitude of all the staff. Being a spa addict I was particularly impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of Mai and all her staff in the hotel spa. Great value for money.

Lovely relaxing stay
Amazing pool and restaurant food....just need to update the rooms to match the downstairs decoration. The communal area are lovely...bed was comfortable but rooms a little basic and my room 205 had a window overlooking an outside walkway. My view was a very nearby blank wall with staff walking back and forth looking in so had to keep my curtains closed. The pool however is spectacular so make sure you get another room

Hotel worth staying in.
Hotel conveniently located between beach (by bicycle) and historic town centre (by foot). Friendly staff who will leave you with a birthday cake, if it is that time of year for you. Nice swim pool and good room comfort, although breakfast could be a bit better. Certainly value for money.

スタンダードクラスの部屋を予約し、二泊しましたが、広さや設備に問題は無く快適でした。ただ、シャワーの水量が少ない、ドアの締まりが悪い、タオルのほつれなどが気になりました。朝食は美味しく、従業員もフレンドリーで親切でしたが、交代する時の引き継ぎが上手く出来ていないのか、お願いした車の手配などに行き違いが2度ほどありました。

ホテルはとてもきれいで朝食もおいしかったです。 スタッフの方はとても親切で安心できました。 ただ、部屋のドアの立て付けが悪くちゃんと締まりませんでした。 アメニティは4つ星という割にシャンプーなどが良くなく残念でした。 部屋にはアリがいて、ベッドにまで登ってきてしまい気持ち悪かったです。

Small nice hotel to visit and spend time
Small nice hotel with restaurant and pool. It has normal hotel room and villa type, I recommend to stay in Villa type, because normal hotel room is just like other hotel building room. Villa has in-front pool and restaurant so that it is like really private garden and nice dining at your side. If you are thinking just want to stay at hotel should think about this villa, because there is many beach side place, but it is too large and many people staying with, so not quite. But this villa can get silence and at-home time.

Bon séjour
Personnel plutôt attentionné, chambre propre, piscine assez grande propre et sympa. À 25 mins à pied du pont japonais, l'hôtel propose qques navettes pour le centre ville et la plage sinon taxis aisément disponible. Qques restos et magasins à proximité.

Las instalaciones del hotel están bien, pero la habitación era viejísima, sin terraza y con vistas a un tendedero, Quisimos cambiarla y no nos dieron opción (teniendo el hotel reservado con dos meses de antelación). Las consumiciones dentro del hotel a precio de España, así como todos sus servicios y el desayuno bastante lamentable.

期待外れでした
アコーグループになったということで期待していたが、期待外れだった。 従業員がチップを欲しそうだった。   タオルセットの追加を頼んだが結局持ってきてくれていなかった。   トイレ・シャワー室の排水が悪く水が流れていかなかった。

Hôtel très confortable
Très bel hotel, bien situé entre la vieille ville et la plage. Très jolie piscine, staff très sympathique, petit-déjeuner agréable. Chambre confortable et élégante. Seul bémol: les couloirs, plutôt jolis avec leurs carrelages, sont très bruyants. Portent qui se ferment, voix. Heureusement que la clientèle est calme. Dans l'ensemble, très bien et à un prix imbattable.

とても素敵なホテルです
改装されてとてもきれいでした。特にお部屋も良かったです。 スタッフも親切で特に問題はありませんでした。ただし、朝のレストランのスタッフは例外です。

The location is far from the centre than we expected! Our room is noisy due to neighbor and rooms are small. The bus service is good and people are nice!

Eines der besten 4 Sterne in Hoi An
Gute Lage, guter Service, toller Pool. Kostenlose Fahrräder. Besser als die meisten 4 Sterne Hotels in Hoi An (außer vielleicht das Essence). Was nett wäre ist ein kostenloser abholservice vom Flughafen. Die Taxis hier sind nervenaufreibend und versuchen immer einen übers Ohr zu hauen - nicht ein guter Start in den Urlaub.

Très bel hôtel , personnel très accueillant
Très bel hôtel avec très belle piscine. Personnel très accueillant et serviable. La chambre est bien décorée, très propre. Transport gratuit mis à disposition à certaines heures, très pratique. Nous avons pu manger en dehors des heures de repas grâce au personnel très compréhensif !

Vi sjekket inn sent på kvelden, og ble møtt av en sovende resepsjonist og en mørk lobby. Rommet var rent og romslig, men ikke mye til utsikt, da denne var inn i en vegg. Spa-avdelingen hadde godt utvalg, og gode priser. Det regnet en dag, og de delte ut paraplyer til gjestene når vi skulle ut. Pluss for shuttle til stranda. Vi sjekket ut på natta for å dra til flyplassen, og vi ble snendt med to esker hver med frokost de hadde tilberedt for oss. En god tanke, men da det hadde kommet seg et par hundre bananfluer i hver eske, trakk dette ned inntrykket igjen...
