Great location. Right near subway, and walking distance to some major attractions, but not all of course. Just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Times Square, so sleeping was easy as it was relatively quiet at night.
View from the room was amazing (Empire state building) and staff was very friendly, doorment were excellent, and the room staff came in a cleaned up and changed the towels every day. Great service here.
Some criticisms. The rooms need some work. There were cracks in the tiles, our room door would not fully close, and the toilet required some holding of the handle to flush completely.
The elevator.... OMG. There was only one elevator for us to use and it took forever sometimes, as it was also shared with the hotel staff and construction workers that were renovating a higher floor during our stay. This was a major annoyance some times.
Parking options were limited, but we used the one outdoor lot that was recommended. We got a discount from the hotel and overall that was a great experience for someone not used to valet parking. Yes it's expensive, but it was conveniently located only a block away.
I would stay here again if it was just my wife and I (we brought our 2 teens and the room was pretty cramped)
