Difficult to find no lights on the way to hotel
Difficult to find the place at night, no light on the way to hotel. I sprained my ankle, going down the stairs because of no light. The bed had old sheets riped and in bad conditions. No instrictions on how to function the TV. No one on the office to answer any question or for help. Great view, and good brekfast, but very difficult to find the place and worse of all no light or signs to this place.

Location was great in Imerovigli. Easy to walk to Fira and nearby restaurants etc. Some rooms (ours) opens right onto the Caldera Path so constantly people walking right by and looking in - so may want to ask about that if it is a concern.

This is without a doubt one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed at. The view from the semi private pool was stunning. The staff was excellent! This is probably true of most accomodations in Santorini but the hotel was not easy to find but just One call to the front desk and they sent staff up to greet us on the main road. It was all smooth sailing after that :)

Great view. Good location. Available parking. A little hard to find but once located was easy in and out. Cute loft only had to watch your head if you weren't in the center of the arch. Advertised 32" tv but it couldn't have been more than 22". Plus it's location made it hard to watch from anywhere except the bedroom

Stunning views!!
Amazing villa overlooking the caldera..stunning views!! The staff in the hotel were very friendly and accommodating. Walking distance to many local restaurants. I highly recommend Alexander Villas!!

Views, but not a place to get pampered.
A cave. Very small, the bedroom is a loft with a steep ladder that leads to rounded ceiling with a top height of about 5 feet. Bathroom is marginal and the water ran out one night in the middle of a shower. Maria the housekeeper was very pleasant. The views and location to Fira and Oia, and the bus, are the reason to stay here.

Big Trek, Worth the Hike
INCREDIBLE VIEW Cannot say enough about the view and breakfast was very substantial and fresh (not to mention brought to our room) If you are going to be turned off by slightly shabby furnishings and mediocre decor then this place is not for you. Also if you require being able to stand up at the bathroom sink, our cave did not allow for this. BUT none of that bothered us because the location was so incredible. Service was great except upon arrival — at no point did they note it is almost impossible to find and you must go by foot. The google map was not helpful here either.. it took us forever after a long day of travel and then we saw every single other guest have the same issue. Overall very much enjoyed our stay!

2 Star Hotel, avoid it if possible.
I'm not usually one to write reviews but I feel that I should warn people so that their holiday to beautiful Santorini is not negatively affected, as ours was by the standard of this hotel. This hotel/Villa was extremely disappointing, the rooms were small, the plumbing leaked and therefore made the room smell, the staff though not rude were not helpful or welcoming at all and as mentioned the pool was tiny, though they did allow access to their sister hotels pool. For the money we paid here (most expensive accomodation in our whole European tour) you expect a 5 star hotel but I would rate this a 2 Star hotel, the pictures are very deceving and not reflective of the actuall condition of the accomodation. During our stay there were various other people complaining about the accomadation and one mother and daughter who actually left and went to another hotel. If the price of this Hotel was half or less than what they charge I wouldn't have anything bad to say as you would expect that the hotel would reflect the price but for what they charge, it was extremely disapointing and I would suggest looking into other accomodation options.

very good very romantic, the airconditioner is not enough for the big room, so it is a little cold in dec, but it is ok we can bear that. the view and the hotel is beautiful. we walk along the cliff road untill fira, it is all good view all the way. 很喜欢这个酒店，唯一缺点就是我们12月份去的，房间空调有点不给力，房间有点冷，不过瑕不掩瑜，夏天一定很完美。这个酒店的景色还是酒店本身都很好看，从酒店出去，沿着一条悬崖边步行小路，一直可以走到fira，中间经过好多个蓝顶，国家地理那个要从小路上下来去特意找一下。总之沿途都好美～

This is not even a 1 Star Hotel! NOT RECOMMENDED
This is not a hotel! this is low end, flea infested, extremely dirty room! The roof is falling apart! Terrible Facilities, terrible cleanliness, terrible service, terrible food! TERRIBLE EVERYTHING! The worse place I have ever stayed in MY LIFE!! I come from a hotel background and places like this should not be able to call themselves hotels or even be open for business!! IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO RUIN YOUR SANTORINI EXPERIENCE, DON´S STAY HERE! Hotels.com should do a better job scouting what properties they sell!!

Alexander Villas - A great week in Santorini
Our "villa"/room faced the caldera. The view is absolutely stunning. We arrived at night and I was speechless when I saw it in daylight. The staff are the most attentive, friendly and helpful (without being in "your face"). Our room was next to a relatively busy footpath which meant that occasionally, some less considerate tourists would be a little noisy (which didn't bother me but may be relevant to some - particularly in high season). The room is equipped with a fridge, small aircon, TV and WiFi. The bedroom is elevated (above the bathroom) which means it can be quite warm and the aircon may struggle a little to keep it cool. But I happily sacrificed a little bit of sleep for probably my best ever holiday. The breakfast was lovely (greek yoghurt, fresh fruit, buns, jams, cake, coffee/tea), the pool was great, the location of the village is nice too with plenty of good restaurants to choose from (avoid Estia though!). Fira is in walking distance (~20 minutes). Overall I loved it and highly recommend it to couples.

Simply amazing !
Just came back from Santorini last week. It has been a smart choice to stay at Imerovigli, and indeed a lucky one to have got the last minute deal from Alexander Villas. Despite worrying about some bad reviews of the hotel, I'm glad that I've given it a try. Our stay eventually turned out to be the most pleasant one among all our trips in Europe. I've noted that some people have complained about the difficulty in finding the reception of Alexander Villas. Well my advise is, ask the hotel for a pick up service as I did. For 10 Euros you really save all the hassles, plus they help carrying your luggages ! Upon arriving, the manager carried our luggages and escorted us to our room. We were allocated a room with an infinity pool right in front, just like a private pool to us! Also we were given a bottle of complimentary champagne. We love our room so much that we rather spent most of our afternoons by the pool, overlooking the jaw-dropped stunning views of the volcano and cliffs. If it wasn't so cold at night, we would have spent our time chilling at the patio every night. Seriously we'll never get bored of the views, they're simply amazing! The hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is good, with convenient stores, restaurants and car rental companies just nearby, and it's only 15minutes walk to Thira. Despite some tiny flaws, overall we enjoyed our stay. It is indeed a memorable trip and we wished we have stayed longer !

A wonderful expereince
The Alexander Villas was wonderful. We had the best week staying there. It is attached to the Kallisto Hotel so be careful when booking that you actually get what you want because when speaking to some of the other guests some people were disappointed (because they had booked to stay at the Kallisto and ended up at Alexander Villas). We on the other hand were thrilled and will definitely stay again when we return to Santorini. It is about a 20 minute walk from Thira and there is a bus stop easily accessible from the hotel. The view is the best thing about it, it was absolutely amazing. We had breakfast delivered to our room every morning which was lovely. The hotel staff were very helpful and attended to our many requests. It was just so relaxing. The actual rooms are not perfect but the view and outside area/pool area definitely makes up for it and we spent most of our time outside anyway.

Awesome Stay!
We just returned from 5 nights at the Kallisto Hotel in Imerovigli. We stayed in a loft suite which was perfect for my husband and I. I don't think it had a number. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. There were plenty of restaurants and markets close. Breakfast was brought to us each morning that consisted of pastries, grilled ham & cheese sandwiches, juice and tea. It was perfect to get the day started. The VIEW is AMAZING! And the Julian and his staff are just as amazing. Very friendly, helpful and informative. Julian arranged for us to rent an ATV for four days to explore the island which was perfect! The only complaint I have..and this has nothing to do with the hotel..was that our gas from ATV was stolen two nights in a row..but it happens. We didn't get to use the pool as it was too cold this time of the year. My husband used the fitness room a couple of nights. Would recommend this hotel if you want quiet and romantic.

location on the caldera is out of this world!! youre really paying for the view. the staff is very nice--they let me leave my bags with them for part of the day. it was very quiet there as well. was dissapointed with the tv! i had done a lot of traveling and wanted nothing more than to watch a spot of tv and it didnt work! i couldnt figureout how to work the radio--i think it was broken. also, the internet was shotty.

Brilliant location and great value for money. We stayed in Alexander 1 so can't speak for the other villas - this was a cave type room and a little quirky but had a great individual balcony overlooking the small pool and the entire caldera. It had a lounge/sitting area, ensuite, fridge etc. Staff delightful and very helpful. Breakfast is served on request to your balcony every morning - really pleasant. Only negative is that the Villas are a bit hard to find - need to have better signage (reception is actually via Kallisto, the sister hotel).

Amazing time in Santorini
The Alexander Villas were AMAZING, The view we had was just incredible, we were at the top of a cliff that overlooked the harbour and the other cliffs, We had a small private pool only 2m from our room, which lit up and night and was just amazing. Room was very clean and spacious, with 2 double beds on separate levels. Breakfast was brought to you room, which was nice Only Trouble was that the shower did not have a curtain, and we couldnt get breakfast before 8am, but that did not bother me at all. I would recommend this hotel/room to EVERYONE

Tres bel endroit ! Une vue exceptionnelle ! Pietro est formidable , merci à lui pour son accueil et ses conseils. Le petit dejeuner livré sur la terrasse tous les matins c’est un bonheur . Le lit décoré differemment chaque jour par la femme de chambre c’est tellement agréable quand on rentre. Le jacuzzi est nettoyé chaque jour. Séjour parfait on recommande !

Un hotel con vedute mozzafiato
Questo albergo è capace di farti sentire immerso nel clima di Santorini. Le camere sono piccole dimore con terrazzo privato, dove perdersi tra le vedute di alture mozzafiato, il mare dinnanzi, il susseguirsi di tante casette bianche con gli angoli smussati, tipiche dell'isola. Particolarmente bella e buona la colazione del mattino; su richiesta viene servita sul terrazzo privato; quindi una colazione da gustare in tutta intimità. Vengono serviti caffè, thè, marmellate, burro, pane caldo, frutta fresca, dolci. Insomma un momento da reali! Il personale è preparato, attento e gentile. L'unico neo potrebbero essere gli spazi in camera; trattandosi di casette tipiche dell'isola sono piccole, ma ben suddivise negli spazi: terrazzo indipendente arredato con lettini, sedie, ombrellone, tavolino, illuminazione; all'interno vi è l ingresso con frigo, aria condizionata, tv, camera da letto, bagno (quest'ultimo con soffitto un po' troppo basso).
