We had paid for a Superior Room with king size bed; the first room we were given was miniscule - I'm sure it wasn't superior category. We were then moved to another room which was bigger; however, the jacuzzi in the bathroom a) didn't work, and b) flooded the bathroom when emptying.

too small of bathrooms and too noisy
The room we were put in, room 4 next to the breakfast room had too small of a bathroom and was way too noisy in the morning being next to the breakfast room. This small room isn't featured on your website due to it's small size which tells me they want this room hidden. I feel this room should be cheaper than the all other rooms due to size of bathroom and the noise factor.

Each room is different and furnished with antiques. Didn’t like that it had no pool. Small spa on roof with many stairs to get to. Not handicap accessible.

Nice boutique hotel in front of the rambla, great view. Clean, convenient, cheap, good breakfast and great people. One main issue, you can hear everything across the hotel, yes, everything. Not sure what the reason is but this may be disturbing for others.

A safe area, with several choices for gastronomy, sidewalk boutique shoping, close to Intl Airport. Seaside and close to the landmark Casino.

I stay here every year when I come to Montevideo. I love the friendly welcome, and attentive staff. The front staff speak english, and the rest work hard at communicating with me. The decor is starting to date, but everything is spotlessly clean. The wifi works well in all areas of this boutique building, and the breakfast is great. The area is right on the beachfront Rambla, and a short stroll to wonderful restaurants, higher end clothing, supermarket, fuel, and convenience stores. The Casino is almost next door.

This is a very nice, small hotel. It is convenient to the airport, the casino, and shopping. The wifi works well, and the staff are very pleasant. I always stay here when visiting Montevideo, and am very happy

Very nice location
Not far from the airport and directly across the street from the beach, this hotel is in the perfect location if you like the water. The staff was super-friendly and very helpful.

excellent and very friendly staff and they provide beach chairs , parasol and beach towells . breakfast is pleantifull and with a somehow variety of home baked breads and pies . public transportation , banks , beach and shopping within walking distance and located in a very safe location for evenings and late (very late ) evenings walks

A cozy little hotel right at the seaside. Just a short taxi ride from the airport but few other attractions nearby. 45-minute bus ride into central Monte Video.

The staff and hotel were great and it would have been a very enjoyable stay it had not been that they were doing renovations in the room on the other side of my bed, so with the banging and tile saw every morning, we were not able to spend any time in the room at all, couldn't hear the tv, couldn't even hold a conversation without yelling at each other, and forget sleeping in, impossible.

Comfort and Convenience
This is my 3rd stay at Pedro Figari, and I am always very happy there. The hotel has a great position on the Rambla right near the casino. The area has many up market shops and restaurants, and is very convenient to the airport. It is not such a long drive to the old center, but taxis are not cheap in Uruguay (it is possible to go by bus.

View of the beach
My girlfriend gave the staff four stars, I wanted to give them a five. but anyway, they were great. Florencia and Henry were very helpful, very kind, and did everything with a big smile. The location was amazing as we were right across from the beach and could see the beach from our room. Tthe hotel was very nice and clean but small.

I really enjoyed my stay here, and it was very convienient. The staff were helpful, and breakfast had filling options. Only one negative...road noise, being right on the Rambla. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

Ideal location and value
Friendly and very helpful staff. My Spanish is pathetic at best, but no worries, the concierge spoke MANY languages. He was able to direct me to a walking-distance restaurant and assured me I was safe. We loved the immediate beach access. I suppose if gambling had been on the agenda, the minute of less walk to the casino would've been divine. Room was great, and suited our needs well. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Pedro Figari is an older building that has been worked on. It is reasonably quiet although it is on the highway, you can walk across the street to the beach. We chose this hotel for it's proximity to the airport, which it is, only 10 min cab drive. We would not recommend this hotel for a extended stay! One night is enough!!

Comfortable for overnight stay near MVD
The hotel is slightly worn around the edges. For example, walls were peeling in the bedroom and hallway. However, the service was very good and friendly. This is a good, inexpensive choice for a short-term stay.

The hotel was nice with a very extensive beakfast buffet. It is in a mostly residential neighborhood with a few restaurants in the area and a casino very close. We didn't explore all the hotel facilities.

Great place, stayed 2 nights on arrival and then 3 more before heading home. Bus stop is close for low cost city bus tour of Montevideo. Reasonable distance to airport for flight out. Beach is right across the street! Shops/restaurants and groceries walking distance.

Located on ocean in quiet neighbourhood
Great location, about half distance between airport and port. We got off cruise ship and took taxi to hotel. Bus 104/105 take you downtown and to Independence Square. Shopping, bus stop and Casino located right beside hotel. Well kept and clean, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay prior to flying home.

Confortable, great location, watch taxy rate
We had a room overlooking the beach, nice view, comfortable quiet AC. There is a street with many restaurants behind the hotel (from the front, go 1 block to the left, towards the Sofitel luxury hotel-casino, turn right and walk behind the casino, to the next street. That street has various restaurants, we ate at Garcia, which was good.
