Book a room which clearly says 3 beds, after arriving gave us a room with a single Queen Size bed for 3 people, but front desk was quick to reassign a 3 bed room to us. However, the new room was on a lower floor than the original room and was nowhere as nice: bathroom door doesn't close properly, shower door won't move, third bed was obviously a temp bed add-on, and overall very old and musty compared to the first room we saw. Front desk staff might have been new, had to constantly wake up staff in the back during check-in about paperwork. Gave them my Canadian passport for check-in but got a "do you have other forms of ID? " as a reply. Why would I have another form of ID while traveling in China? Neighbourhood is a little dark and sketchy at night, but do have some very good restaurants and is rather close to long distance bus terminal and other major public transportation routes.
