The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.

Good location
The location is excellent and it has a good view of the sea. It is just a short walking distance to many restaurants and cafe and of course the railway station of Mallaig. We had a nice stay in this hotel.

no evening dining service led to eating out for everybody. Needed dedicated disabled spaces, but more urgently a lift indoors.

Lovely weekend in Mallaig
Lovely hotel. Room was very comfortable and brilliant sea view. Only down side was the restaurant was closed during our stay, but great places nearby to eat

La persona de la mañana nos hizo pasar un mal momento al cuestionar si se había pagado o no la habitación, frente a toda la gente que estaba en el loby nos dijo que no habíamos pagado, resulta que su compañera no había registrado el pago que se realizó a través de EXPEDIA, lo cual le arruinó a mi esposa su mañana. :)

The Staff were very pleasant, the Room itself clean and comfy, We thought it rather expensive at 217.50 for one night, and then 16.00 each for Buffet Breakfast wasnt good value at all. Would look for alternative next time.

Fabulous hotel convenient for town
Fabulous hotel, great atmosphere, gorgeous room, kind helpful Staff, good facilities. Convenient for town. Didn’t eat here. The only thing they could have improved was we rushed for our ferry in the morning but it had been cancelled - they could add a service where they offer updated to services?

Perfect for a night
We stayed for just 1 night. A beautiful house, good restaurant & lively bar. Not many choices on the menu, but good food. The room was small, comfortable beds. One point: we couldn‘t open the bathroom window, it was high up (pitch of a roof) + impossible to reach..
