The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.

張貼日期：2017年10月15日 網站：HotelsThe location is excellent and it has a good view of the sea. It is just a short walking distance to many restaurants and cafe and of course the railway station of Mallaig. We had a nice stay in this hotel.

張貼日期：2020年3月14日 網站：Hotelslovely comfortable place with very friendly and helpful staff great beds clean and attractive rooms close to railway station and wonderful views. Only thing to watch out for were bedroom wall lights - bumped head on them twice ouch!

The West Highland Hotel - a Gem at Mallaig

The restaurant is also very nice - serving a proper Scottish breakfast.
My room was appropriately modest with a separate bathroom - all for a reasonable price.
