Loved the hotel. Thought Jean George was not on the same level as the hotel. Have dined at his restaurants for years. This was not very good. Would definitly return to the Mark but would look elsewhere for dining.

Nice location. Rooms noisy - street noise. Bellman unfriendly. Housekeeping staff very good. Room service very good. Concierge very good. Rooms tired - need care. Drain didn't work in tub, TV crooked, bathroom in need of repair/updating. So so experience. Disappointed from the reviews I have heard. Doesn't compare to the Carlyle around the corner.

We LOVE this hotel. The attention to detail. The intimacy. The consistent quality and the general leadership of the GM is unparalleled. The helpful, friendly concierge (singling out Susanna and Narciso and the the front bellpeole.
