Horrible experience. No towels in the room. Went to front desk to get towels and was told there were no towels available for two more hours. This was at 8:30 pm. Had to go to local Walmart and buy my own so family could shower. That was 52$. There were no thresholds under any of the doors in the room. So there was an 1.25 inch gap at the bottom of the entry door, and under the door to the adjacent room. So not only cold air, but also bugs and noise and smoke from the neighbors could come in. If you understand anything about security, you know how easy it would be to break in to the room with a coat hanger. There was no lens in the peephole in the door. More security issues. Two of the three wall outlets in the room didn't work. This was room 234.

This place is a dumpster fire. Do you need help from front desk? Forget it. The creep in the front isn’t around. Need to shower in your hotel room? Nah, no towels! No explanation, no I’m so sorry, just a shoulder shrug. The staff is nowhere to be found. We checked out at 10:45 ish and around 11 realized I had forgot my phone inside in the desk. Door locked. Called. No answer just some weird ring tone. The one person who works there who doesn’t answer phones or staff anyone to do laundry. He is useless. This is a nasty place run by a family who obviously doesn’t spend any money on maintenance or staff. If you’re thinking “that’s what you get for two stars, you’re right! There were no other options due to an event in town. We had an old crack head lady smoking cigarettes in her room with the door open. The person in the room next to us never paid and had locked himself in the room. This place was wild. Someone shut this place down. It’s dirty and disgusting. Do yourself a favor and sleep in your vehicle. If you enjoy a third world experience, you’ll feel right at home. I have never written a review like this in my life, but this place asked for it.

Unfortunately we were not able to stay at that hotel because is not a safe place and is not clean. It was not as it looks on your website. And sadly they don’t want to refund my money. I always book to Expedia but this time I’m really sad of the expectation of that hotel.

Don’t stay here!!! Worst hotel experience ever!! This place is falling apart. No sound insulation between the rooms. Seems like the place is largely occupied by transients. The ice machine is at the hotel next door. Customers were repeatedly at the front desk for towels. The rooms are half the size pictured. The pool is not a pool. Might be a hot tub at 12’x12’ (if you dared) but also it’s out of order. The free breakfast was equally laughable unless chicken nuggets are your thing. They are all to happy to book the room and all to happy to hang up on you when you have noisy neighbors. People hanging out in the parking lot till all hours of the night. Police trolling the parking lot (thankfully). Bathtub only works as a shower. If I could rate this place accurately it would be a negative 20.

This could have been a great spot. Close proximity to Monterey, walking distance to a beautiful state beach, and a solid complimentary breakfast. The property is worn and that would have been ok if it was clean. There was brown something spattered on the bathroom walls and pink mold and hair in the tub. I asked the front desk if the bathroom could be cleaned and he responded that no one was there to clean it. He said they didn’t have any other rooms to move us. He said the stuff on the walls was probably just from the shower. Whatever it was, it’s gross and shouldn’t be on a hotel wall, especially one that charges $197 for a weekend night rate. I thought about leaving, but the beds were clean and we were celebrating a child’s birthday, so we stayed. We just didn’t shower until we got home.

It was a walking distance close to the beach. There was no towels in the room. No one answered my call. I went to the office from a third story without an elevator and was told they run out of towel and at 8:30 pm they will call in an hour but they never did.

There a lot of drug use and police and ambulance officers from people overdosing in the rooms and fighting. Dogs barking all night due to their owners using and having traffic all night. I will never stay here again I want all my money back.
