Beautiful hotel

I feel like writing a detail laden review might spoil some of the nice surprises that await a new visitor, but in short this hotel provides great service and gorgeous rooms in an excellent location. On this trip we were attending a concert at the Stadthalle, which was a 20 minute walk or 6 minute taxi journey. The centre is a short walk away and the surrounding area is full of bars, restaurants and quirky shops. Breakfast at the hotel is great. We stayed in the Felix suite which we loved, and our travelling companions were similarly enamoured with the Otto suite. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Vienna.

We were a little intimidated by the number of steps from the entrance to the upstairs reception area, but there was a very efficient elevator that helped us to move from floor to floor with our luggage. The staff service was excellent and any questions we had were addressed promptly. In addition, they assisted with making reservations one night. Breakfast was quite satisfying and we did not need to eat lunch because tea time was a perfect pick-me-up until we went to dinner. We also enjoyed the access to the Honesty Bar in the reception area. Hotel was well situated for our purposes and within reasonable walking distance to the sites we had time to visit.
