Had a great overnight stay with two toddlers, in town for a knights game. It was a fair way from the stadium but very close to awesome coffee & breakfast spots. Able to nab some free parking out the front, especially great with the torrential downpour when we arrived! The lift was a godsend, & the double glazing in the room kept any venue noises to a minimum. Our room had a sofa bed that we had to get fresh bedding for, it hadn’t been changed since the last user. We had to request an extra two towels for the babes as well, but the staff were very quick to rectify & even offered to make the bed for us.

ve staying at the Lucky. The rooms, although small, are very comfortable and very clean. The pub down stairs is lovely and the restaurant is a great space with really good food. The area is perfect with the harbour right in front and all the beaches and cafe culture all around you. For pub accommodation it is excellent, oh and the staff are very obliging and friendly.

Location was in the centre of town so it was close to shops, food and other amenities/attractions. Hotel was clean and modern and fit our needs well. However, the lighting was quite dim in the room and the walls are thin so you can sometimes hear next door guests if they are loud.

Stayed there for a wedding on property. Room was close to the elevators, and walls were super thin so could hear everything, but that was the only negative. Everything else was great :)

Loved all the venue and staff were friendly. But the pillows were horrid and I couldn't use them. Spent most of the night uncomfortable As long as you bring your own pillows it will be a great experience.

Second time staying at The Lucky and we absolutely love it, even tho we couldn't get the veranda room this time but this room size and bathroom size is good, big comfy bed with clean linen, big window on the garden facing room was big, big clean Morden bathroom, convenient elevator for luggage and access to the bar, be back every time we stay in Newcastle, oh and the light rail is on the front door stop which is so good. Staff are very nice and helpful too.

A great place to atay, exceptional service
Amazing, friendly staff and very accommodating. The front desk even let my daughter charge her phone there. Nice, easy check in and great location. Gorgeous bathroom products too. Highly recommend.

This is a great hotel with plenty of value for your money. It’s got a lot of character and kind of feels like you’re in Palm Springs. The staff are so lovely and friendly and make you feel at home, the restaurant is genuinely an excellent stand alone restaurant and not just there to provide meals to guests. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, the location is great. Overall, a great boutique hotel amd my #1 pick in Newcastle!
