Location was quite reasonable walk distance from public transport. You have easy access from its nearest train station to Universal Studios Japan or big shopping town. We chose this place because it was not far from my parent's place.
We stayed year end to new years holiday. At the time of year most shops and restaurants are closed. However a family friendly restaurant by the nearest train station and a convenience store located on the way from the station to the hotel
opens all the year, you wouldn't get starved.
Room was clean and tidy. Bed mattresses were quite comfortable. As other guests mentioned you have to watch your ankles to not kick the bed base board. It was quite hurt. Futon mattress was a bit too thin. You could feel flooring on your back. If you have never used futon you may feel difficult to sleep. It was preferable to have one more layer of mattress underneath. Pillows were too small and thin. Normal hotel size of pillow x2 would be better for foreigners.
We didn't cook but used cups and dishes. Found problem to dry washed item. The kitchen unit does not have enough space to place ordinaly dish basket. I would like to suggest having an over the tap, shelf type of dish drying space would be useful.
Overall, we satisfied our stay. Would consider to use this place again.
