Ein schönes B&B. Das Zimmer war sauber und hatte wieder erwarten sogar einen Kühlschrank. Leider war das Badezimmer sehr kalt. Ein freundlicher Wirt. Das Frühstück war umfangreich und lecker.

The owner was welcoming carried my bag up the stairs, the breakfast was made with enjoyment, the site of the lodge was accessible to town, the beds were very uncomfortable, the pipes made a noise, the housekeeping was very poor, the carpet smelt of urine, the sheets were torn, the floor in the toilet was not clean. The lodge needs some tlc.

Clean. Covid practices were seen practiced in the breakfast room. The breakfast was appreciated. Car parking can be tight. It was the first night, but with fewer cars (and less vans) it was okay the next night. I had a single room. The bed was comfortable and the room was roomy enough for one person. The window opened with a view over the car park and the treed hills beyond. Morning sun. Good wi-fi. Lighting was okay when all the lights were turned on, as the overhead was not bright enough alone. The plug in the hand basin worked (A rare thing :) ). The shower drain was blocked, but appeared to have been fixed after mentioning it. My gripe was the toilet, and why I marked some things down. It barely would flush, even after several flushes; neither toilet paper or solids. When I mentioned it some were in denial there was a problem, but one comment was, “It’s always been like that!” So a known problem, which should have been fixed. I ended up filling a bucket to assist with clearing the toilet. I would be embarrassed not to leave it properly flushed, and that was almost impossible to achieve. Fix the flush on the toilet and stop denying there's no problem.

Great stay
Lovely guest house. Allowed into room a couple of hours early. Richard and Sally are great hosts. Lovely large bedroom plenty of space. Great having two comfy chairs to sit in as well. Breakfast was delicious. Use of lounge was great as our bus didn't leave until a couple of hours after checkout. Great location for the March into Pitlochry venues.

Excellent B & B in great location
Have just had a great 5 night break here. Very friendly hosts, excellent breakfast and brilliant location. Good Covid practices. Easy access to Pitlochry and surrounding area. Would definitely stay again

My sister and I stayed here for two nights and were in the twin room at the top of the house. The room was clean and had everything that we needed and it had a former window and the views were spectacular. Breakfast was included and they cooked it to order. Lovely place with a nice garden and close to main street

Really good breakfast! All staff friendly and helpful.... Room and halls very clean. Last flight of stairs to our room at the top of the premises were a bit steep. Comfortable double bed in a spacious bedroom and an en suite shower room almost as large Plenty of hot water- so much that the drain in the shower tray couldn't keep up, so washing tended to be a bit stop and go. But this wasn't a problem... the room was comfortably warm...

A very comfortable stay.
A very comfortable stay - beautiful room with very comfortable bed and very clean. Garden path could do with some maintenance but everything else was in perfect condition. Very convenient and quiet location.

Ok for 1 night.
Our room, a twin at the top of the house, was just that... an attic room. It's in need of decorating, the velux window needs a well fitting blind, all in all the room is tired looking. It has a set of glass !? louvre doors into the bathroom, so if you need privacy you have to pull a blind down to cover the glass doors! Corner bath, no shower. We only booked for 1 night, so it was ok but wouldn't want to stay in that room if staying longer. A bit of advice, to reach the attic room you have to go up flights of stairs which are very narrow and steep, so if you have a problem with stairs book a different room. The area itself is lovely.

It was a nice place to rest for a night. Walking distance to the town center. We took a lovely walk to the dam and fish ladders then back across the bridge.

Good hotel
For what we paid and what we need the hotel for, it was really good, a nice bed and good breakfast in the morning. Parking was a little tighter but made no difference to the stay.

Good experience at Carra Beag
Had a great 2-night stay at Carra Beag. The location is great, a 2-minute walk to the center of Pitlochry, and near some good restaurants. We had a cozy room in the former attic, clean and with comfortable beds. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious.

Good location - easy walk to main street and attractions of Pitlochry with a wonderful view from our top floor room. Compact twin room - fine for a couple of nights but lacking in wardrobe/storage if we'd been staying longer. Steep final flight of stairs to the room, but useful to combat the calories of the hearty breakfasts!! Nice touch to supply wine glasses as well as water tumblers and tea/coffee mugs. Generous amount of tea/coffee/milk/hot chocolate/biscuits supplied too.

Arrived to a warm welcome shown to our room which was nice but had two stairs down to the bathroom a bit of a struggle during the night. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful but do not do poached eggs for some reason. All in a pleasant stay, the hosts Sally & Richard very attentive.

A Tight Fit in the Centre of Town
Locn: one street back from the main street and within 200 yards of a number of restaurants and other shops. The entrance to the house and car park is not immediately obvious being on a corner bend in the road and down the driveway at the side of the house, entering from what is now the 'back'. The car park itself is small with low walls making it very tight to park, particularly if a few vehicles are already parked. The rooms are on three levels with only stair access. There is a separate Breakfast room and a Guest lounge. The bathroom is small to medium sized featuring a modern renovation with a very good Shower, quality tiling and fittings including a lighted mirror. The linen quality was good. Toiletries provided consisted of a Hand wash at the basin, Shower gel and tissues. Room 1 was a double window with terrific views across town to the hills beyond. The room is cluttered leaving limited space for two suitcases: there is a large four poster bed, two sitting chairs, an open hanging space, bed side tables, a mini cooler and a trolley side board. Tea & Coffee supplied and a small TV with satellite channels. Free WiFi with limited bandwidth is available.

Marvelous Breakfast
Breakfast was spectacular. It was plentiful and cooked beautiful . I would not have rated the condition down, but in all fairness the carpet was quite worn, but it was clean. Do remember to take your own shampoo if you stay there. They do not provide shampoo or soap . We really enjoyed our stay.
