Beautiful Meredith, NH

This is a lovely home in Meredith, NH which is within convenient walking distance to all of the restaurants and shopping. The sun room is an excellent space to spend the afternoon and evening reading or playing games. And, of course, we really enjoyed being able to get to the lake to swim!

Cute, charming, quirky but comfy house!

This is a great property. It's about a 3 minute walk to downtown Meredith and lake access. Quiet street, well maintained yard and property. The house is older, but has so much charm to it. We were very comfortable. After looking for a dog-friendly property in the lakes region of NH, we saw this listing and the pictures and description are very accurate. The owners were thoughtful- they left fresh flowers on the kitchen table and had creature comforts like wifi, cable, and smart TV access. We especially loved the sunroom, which we would lounge in to relax and get a lovely cross breeze (aided by ceiling fan!). Great place to stay, especially considering dog-friendly places aren't usually as nice as this one is. We would stay here again! :)

Charming and homey.

Joe and Beth are lovely hosts. They responded to all our questions quickly. My family owned this home for 35 years before we sold it to Joe and Beth. They have done a wonderful job removing the old carpeting and wallpaper revealing the charming hardwood floors and maintaining the antique touches. We love the sunroom and entryway. Thanks Joe and Beth.

Wonderful wedding weekend.

Our stay was wonderful and the location to Church Landing and other venues, perfect. If I had one recommendation, it would be to restock the drinking glasses in the kitchen. They have likely disappeared over a busy summer. Also, it is time to replace the lock on the front door. Way to tricky and a simple fix. Thanks for having us.

Loving our weekend in this historic house!

A friend and I spent a couple of nights in this wonderful, historic house in Meredith. This property is clearly loved and it was exactly what we were looking for. It's a block away from the quaint, downtown of Meridth. Everything was clean and everything we needed (linens, towels, coffee maker, etc.) was provided. We really enjoyed the sun room! Keep in mind it is an historic home...meaning some things are old and should be treated with care. The stairs going upstairs are steep and painted black so in dim light you'll want to be careful. I loved the collection of boardgames to keep occupied when it rained. Only thing this house doesn't have is an outside area to hang out (though the sun room makes up for alot of that). I highly recommend this property and hope to revisit it again in the future.
