Michael at reception was incredibly kind and thoughtful, he instantly made us feel welcomed and provided some recommendations to do in Prague. This hotel is beautiful, high end amenities, great location, and friendly staff. The only reason I could not give 5 star is that it can be very very noisy late at night because they do many private events and the people yell and scream in the court yard, it does stop at about midnight. Also, I had a housekeeping woman come in my room at 5pm when I was getting ready to go to dinner, she startled me very badly, and she said she had to put towels down by the bed, which the other staff said is not normal, it was very odd, and as a solo female traveler made me feel unsafe, I put the table by the door at night because of this. It is a perfect location and really luxurious, I would stay again despite the noise and weird experience with housekeeping.

I was delighted to know that you emphasized so many good things about our hotel such as location, choice of our amenities and the professionalisms of our staff. Please accept my apologies for the negative experience which you had to face during your stay. I believe that the incident which you had with housekeeper was caused by turn down service which we do every day in our premium rooms. I can assume that housekeeper due to the language barrier could not explain you properly why she came to your room and this cause this misunderstanding from our side. We are taking the information about the noise into account and certainly try to do our best to eliminate it in future. I sincerely hope to welcome you back again one day. Warmest regards.

While there was an initial issue with the room not having a bathtub as advertised and booked, in addition to a very uncomfortable two single beds joined together instead of a king bed, a staff member (David) was able to assist me by showing me two other rooms I could choose to change to. David’s assistance prevented me from relocating hotels and in the end I had a very pleasant stay. The rooms are immaculate and in a wonderful location within walking distance of all the major sites. I highly recommend this hotel (but suggest paying a little bit more for a premium room).

Beautiful hotel that is well managed. The rooms looked recently renovated and breakfast was delicious. Location was in the heart of the city, surrounded by public transport options. It was this or the Marriott (as I a member). Glad I chose this!

Do not hesitate to book this hotel. Classy, elegant hotel with a quality feel. Just newly renovated with modern rooms and amenities. Stylish rooms and comfy beds and linens.Great gym and sauna too. The front desk staff are professional and welcoming. Can't beat the location either. Close to metro, train station and sreps to Wenceslas square.This is our favorite hotel to stay in Prague. Enjoy!

This property is spectacular! Our concierge, Jana, went above and beyond from the moment we walked through the door until our departure. The property, the staff, and the location were perfectly situated for getting around the city for sightseeing, dining out and shopping. The staff was amazing and so very helpful. The food and food options at the hotel were superb! They exceeded our expectations and made us feel like VIPs everyday from delivering special treats upon arrival and decorating our room for a special occasion, to delivering breakfast to our suite to ensure we were well cared for throughout the entire stay. Jana is a gem and true asset to the Almanac hotel. This was a phenomenal experience and stay!

Very disappointing! First allocated room air con didn’t work and room was tiny for five star hotel! Allocated another room where air con also didn’t work but given free bottle of Prosecco. Breakfasts very poor and stuck with salads for whole stay. Requested sausages and fried tomatoes with breakfast but dudnt have them! Very disappoi ring for 5 star hotel!

This is the kind of hotel that does something else. That makes you feel like home. They gave a gift to my little kid. They left wine and dessert as welcome. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. I would definitevly recommend it and would go back again for sure.
