After staying here I was exhausted and dehydrated. Vending machines don’t have water. Should be pretty standard and yet it was no where to be found. AC units around the hotel sound like vacuum cleaners. I spent all night long awake with the noise of not my own, but the neighboring room’s AC all night long.
The hall ways smelled of weed. While I have nothing against one smoking in their own space, the moment it starts to seep out into my room, I’m bound to be disappointed.
Parking is around the back of the hotel and shared with a bar. Hotel staff let us know it’s not guaranteed should we come back later in the season. The bar seemed to be closed for the season and our car was one of 5 that was parked over night. The room we stayed in faced the parking lot. With so little business during this time you’d imagine staff would’ve put us in a more pleasant room, one where that guest would enjoy themselves and want to return. Not the case here.
This hotels location is beyond amazing staff during checkout was pleasant and yet for my next stay I will choose to stay 2-3 blocks over to ensure that I can get some rest, stay hydrated and wake up without the smell of weed.
