Great location for a good price. Room was modest but fine for one night. A little difficult to navigate the elevators and entrance with suitcases. Had a pool with a slide but didn't have a chance to get in.

Great hotel based right near Portofino. Staff very friendly and helpful. They let us park the car in their car park to explore before we checked in. Recommend ferry to Portofino (hotel ideally based a few minutes walk to jetty). We walked back the 5km which is a beautiful route but a long way! Beautiful hotel with lovely looking facilities - we wished we were staying longer than one night.

Great stay

Much better than I expected! They put me on the top floor (it was off-season, so more flexibility). Although the AC had been turned off for the season, the gentleman was very nice and gave me a fan. Very clean and great location!

Great location, amazing views from the sea view rooms, friendly staff, very clean; but it’s not a four stars more like a 3 stars plus. No sound proofing between the rooms, forget sleeping quietly, bath towels are very rough, bath hot water is just mild…nice but for the price could be better

Wow! I had a view to the water and it was unbelievable. The balcony was huge and I could enjoy the sunset seeing all the boats. The wifi was so good for all my work video calls. The staff was so nice, I could go swimming at the pool while I waited for my room. Food was great. Location is perfect. It’s about a 20 min walk from train station. I am definitely staying here again

This is very good value for the area. Location is perfect, central and walking distance to everything you need. The street is also very quiet. Rooms have been renovated but the layout of junior suite didn't meet my expectations. Also the junior suites with ocean view are on the 3rd floor right off the big terrace in the entrance, which blocks much of the view. I thought getting a superior suite would also come with the best view on a high floor. The building is quite dated in the lobby and exterior. Parking is good.

We stayed here one night. We enjoyed the room, although it was not very sound proof so we could hear those around and above us pretty well. Good shower. We enjoyed our time at the pool however the slide was broken. We asked the front desk to call us a taxi in the morning due to an early train and the person working that night was very helpful and kind. However, that morning, the person working refused to call the taxi before we got down even though we asked for a specific time—it was good we went down even earlier to make sure it was called. He was rude compared to those working when we checked in. Would stay here again.

Our first time in PORTOFINO/Santa Margherita area. The hotel is pretty close to everything, 5-10 minutes easy walks. The best thing about the property is the beautiful view from the balcony. My room was not ready when we arrived, and they gave us an upgrade for the inconvenience. The breakfast buffet is superb with lots of selections and worth the money. The only issue (a non-issue for me) was the outdated bathroom on the 4th floor and that’s due to leaks around the small squared shaped sliding shower doors. I didn’t mind having an extra towel on the floor during showering time. If seeing very small black mold bothers you, then don’t come here. BUT the view OF THE SEA, convenient location, breakfast buffet, clean pool and friendly staff should make up for it in a big time.

I'm not sure if I should give 3 or 4 star. I encountered with two problems: 1- The TV was not working. The staff told me they've been having issued for few days now. 2- The AC was making extreme noise and again staff told me it's an old unit and they can't do anything about it!!! I end up buying earplugs for couple of night i was there.
