Beach Bungalow w Hot Tub + Hammock by Siesta Key Beach
Enjoy a private, newly renovated 2BED/1BA bungalow with spa hot tub, hammock, and backyard 1.5 miles to Siesta Key beach!
Sunbathe at Siesta Key (10 mins!) or stroll to local restaurants. Relax under the pergola on the hammock, hanging egg chair, and plush lounge furniture.
The house is tucked in a safe neighborhood, comfortable and quiet, with an open living room/kitchen and a beautiful lush backyard.
I spent years renovating my little beach house into a "spa homestead." I'm grateful to share it--welcome!
Welcome home! I renovated this midcentury gem to be comfortable and peaceful.
The front door leads to the living room, with comfy leather couches, smart tv, books, and games. There's plenty of room to hang out and cook together.
The open kitchen is the heart of the home, with padded chairs at the 8ft bar.
The renovated chef's kitchen is fully-stocked with cookware, new appliances, and durable, lead-free tableware. Help yourself to the fridge, spice rack, and secret pantry :)
There are two charming bedrooms. Each has a queen bed with luxury linens, soft lighting, windows, shades and curtains, extra hangers, and storage. They're quiet and comfortable. The bedroom windows have shades and curtains.
The bathroom is newly renovated with a combination bath/shower, fluffy cotton towels, and complimentary high-end bath products, hair dryer, and toiletries.
The laundry niche has a full-size stacked washer and dryer. There are natural lavender and also fragrance-free detergents, dryer sheets, and wool dryer balls located above.
The eat-in kitchen has a glass dining table for four, and connects to two (!) screened-in lanai spaces. One side has a dining table that seats 6, and the other lanai holds the spa hot tub (guests can adjust temperature on the hot tub control panel.)
I designed the backyard to be a tropical living room full of lush gardens and a giant shady pergola.
I planted fruit trees and tropical plants to create a private oasis where you can relax in the shade, surrounded by flowers.
You'll see flocks of green parakeets, dozens of butterflies, and a variety of birds and rabbits. Enjoy nature!
*Florida's tropical climate means we often see wildlife, and small bugs and harmless lizards occasionally get inside homes. If that bothers you, a hotel may be a better option!
*Please note there is a separate office (with private entrance & gate) on the right side of my house, that I use occasionally. I have not encountered guests and will not bother my guests :)
