Zen Rooms is a travel agency and they must book out rooms within the Porcelain Hotel as that is where my booking was. The rooms are small but perfect for solo travellers. I'd say unless you are a couple on a budget don't go for the cheapest double bedroom. In my room the bed is built into the space with no room to get in either side you have to climb in from the end of the bed. Not an issue for a solo person, but could disturb your partner if you need to get up in the middle of the night. The bathroom is very modern and new, absolutely fabulous! You get given toiletries also, so that's a nice touch. There's a handy fridge and huge TV. The bathroom is a frosted glass panel to the bedroom, one the bathroom light is turned on it illuminates the whole room. Again, fine for a solo traveller, but could disturb a sleeping partner. The staff are friendly, the reception is immaculate and you can buy discounted tickets for all the top sites. There is a Fair Price supermarket and Chinatown MTR station, both one block away. Situated in the most amazing location, Chinatown. There's a hotel at the other end of the street that does a great happy hour and has live music. Lots of eateries in the vicinity too. Bag storage and late checkout are available.
