The outdoor area includes a swimming pool and a manicured 980 m² lawn with four sun loungers and two umbrellas - perfect for sunbathing and relaxing.A special highlight is the wellness area located in a separate building, featuring a Finnish sauna, relaxation zone, and an additional bathroom.The villa is equipped with digital satellite TV and WiFi, offering all modern amenities for a comfortable stay.Villa Igo is powered by advanced photovoltaic panels that cover all electricity consumption. Not what it seemed !

The fotos certainly gave the impression of a quality home but the reality was that it was in an estate surrounded by other similar properties. It had poor quality furniture and fittings, but a flat screen tv in every bedroom; why?? The doors had warped and didn’t close properly, the games equipment broken or impossible to use. The bathrooms smelt of sewage and our bathroom sink took ages to drain! The pool was smaller than you would have believed from the foto but it was ok, the sauna too. We were all covered in mosquito bites as there was no netting and we had to open the windows because the air conditioning in the stairwell was completely ineffective in the bedrooms!! The kitchen was way too small to cater for 7 people. The bedroom furniture was ridiculous for two people for one week. Croatian law states that no loud building works are allowed in high season but the agents knew the house next door was being renovated and had done nothing. They then blamed us for not telling them sooner. Don’t they go there every week and have eyes and ears? We’ve stayed in different properties in Croatia for the last 12 years. We know what to expect for the price and we have never complained. The owner needs to invest some money in the property and the agency needs to be proactive rather than reactive. Sorry for the negative, but honest, review in which I’ve listed some, but not all, of our issues!

Entspannter Familienurlaub

Wir hatten einen super schönen und entspannten Urlaub in einer sehr schönen Villa. Perfekt für Kinder, da es einen schönen grossen Pool, Garten und ein Spielzimmer gibt. Auch die schöne neue Sauna haben wir abends mal genutzt. Die Lage war insgesamt sehr günstig und ruhig. Es ist nicht weit zu verschiedenen Strände und auch größere Städte wie Pula oder Rovinje sind schnell erreichbar. Man kann in der Nähe essen gehen oder sich etwas liefern lassen. Ein größerer Supermarkt ist in 10 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Wir als 3 Generationen Familie können die Villa Igo absolut empfehlen!👍
