Quick stay

We loved Tamarindo and the condo was a great location! We had trouble getting into the gated lot upon arrival, but once we figured that out we had a great stay. Plenty of food and fun within a short walk!

Tamarindo vacation

The location and grounds of this property are perfect. Great communications with host. If we make another trip to Costa Rica, this is definitely where we will stay.

Great location, unit and even better pool

This was a great location for our family. The pool was great for our active 4 year old swimmer and a nice way to end each day in the shade. The location was great, you could walk to everything you needed. The unit was clean and well stocked with cooking and beach equipment. There was even a kids club by the pool where you could drop your kids off, for a fee, for them to do arts and crafts.

My husband and I just returned after spending a week in Tamarindo. Our stay at Mataplo 203 was exceptional. From the communication prior to arriving, check in process, assistance with excursions to being available to answer questions their service was spectacular. Having never been to Costa Rica, I placed all my faith in everything that Kelly and Olber recommended and was never disappointed. We will be back. I’m already looking at dates for next February. Thank you so much!

Clean and comfortable

The place looks as pictured. It's decorated very nice and clean. The kitchen is big and the a/c works great. It’s in a great location, across the street from the beach and walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Only downside; it has two very small and old tvs, one in the living room and one in the double bedroom. But, the wifi works great. Also, the bed in the master bedroom is a bit bumpy. The pool area was nice, but didn’t have many lounge chairs with shade/umbrellas. There’s plenty of parking and lots of security guards all over the property. I would highly recommend staying here when visiting Tamarindo.

Great location, amazing town

The condo is in a great location in Tamarindo, very walkable to everything, we rented a car and barely used it. The resort pool is amazing for kids and adults, swim up bar was well staffed, quick and easy for drinks and food. The condo was as advertised, clean and made for a great home base for the trip. The only complaint is similar to other reviews, the 6 industrial A/C units right below the balcony were constantly running and extremely loud well on the patio. Made it tough to enjoy the amazing view. Would be helpful if there was some sort of sound barrier put on the one side of the patio to help suppress the noise. You did get use to it over time. It would not stop us from renting this condo again but if another unit was available I would go with that just for this reason.

Photos & description of unit met all expectations.

The property was immaculate including the furnishings, and washer/dryer was a bonus. I must admit the TV had no English-speaking channels, so that was a little challenging for some. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and glad it was affiliated with the hotel.

Wonderful property that was easy walking distance to the beach, town, and many restaurants. Also had beach chairs, beach towels, and cooler available to use. We loved the place and would stay there again!

Everything was what was represented. Great condo and great location. Enjoyed every bit of our trip. The pool was great and the beach was right across the beach. Easy walk to everything you could possibly need. This is our third trip to Tamarindo and we always stay at the Diria.

Excellent accommodation and location. The only thing that would have made it better is lounge chairs on the beach in the shaded palm area. Driria does not allow that for the Driria condo guests.

Great location!

We stayed here for 10 days. The condo was just what we needed. Although we did not cook very much the kitchen was fully stocked. The condo is in the perfect location for beach, pool, restaurants and bars. We felt safe the whole time. There was even a chubby kitty that would come visit us often. We loved it! Iguanas and howler monkeys were also alway around. Check in was easy and the property manager was responsive. Overall a wonderful stay. Would come back.

Excellent Location & Condo, Wish the A/C units Outside Were Quieter

You can't go wrong with these condos, but if I knew that multiple a/c units were right outside the deck and were always running, I would have chosen another spot out of personal preference. You can't hear them from the inside, but if you want enjoy the sounds of nature while sipping coffee outside in the morning, you will only here the industrial a/c units running. Besides that, the condo was spotless, well stocked for your stay, and the location is in the heart of Tamarindo. You'll have access to an amazing pool right outside, but not the main Diria hotel pool. You can rent umbrellas and beach chairs in front of the hotel from a third party and the hotel bar is open to all.

Don’t miss!

The condo was beautiful, location was walking distance to everything you could want (bars, restaurants, markets, grocery stores, shopping... etc). The property was secure, staff was helpful.. we had a quick issue with the air conditioning due to a breaker being flipped but the staff and Rebecca were quick and prompt with a resolution - fixed within hours! We saw howler monkeys and iguanas - overall such a wonderful stay and will defiantly be back!

This condo is beautiful, well equipped, and well cared for. It’s in the perfect location to get around Tamarindo and feels very secure and quiet at the same time. BlueWater was great to work with.

We have stayed at bluewater properties 3times an I love it it is luxurious safe and reasonably priced. I love it here and the bluewater gang takes care of any of your needs I can’t recommend bluewater properties enough( an I am extremely hard to please.. ask my husband)
