Great location. Great service! Everyone always friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Everywhere was super clean. If anything: the bathroom needs updating and more shelves/ hangers and maybe a fruit salad/watermelon for breakfast. But this is just me(I’ve been spoiled). I’ve stayed 6 years ago in this hotel and I’ll stay again next time I’m in Varna!

A relatively small boutique hotel, looks new, small and well-equipped rooms, there are also large rooms that are often occupied. A poor but sufficient breakfast, you can make an update from time to time, it won't hurt..

My favorite in Varna so far.
Early checkin. Excellent service. Excellent location. Good breakfast with table service for coffee & drinks. Only negative was the street noise from my first floor room. However, they were able to give me a different room on a higher floor and also earplugs. Be advised if you are sensitive to noise. Overall, the best of the three hotels I stayed at in Varna (Grand Hotel London & Imperia being the other two).

Next to the famous Varna Sea Garden. Near good eateries. Room was great. Staff was so-so (Covid puts a damper on staff friendliness). Nevertheless I highly recommend the hotel when visiting Varna, Bulgaria.

The room was clean and quiet, however the overall feeling is of a place that needs serious renovation work: chipped furniture, greyish curtains, overused window blinds, etc. Good place but nothing to write home about.

The hotel staff were nice and helpful. This is supposed to be one of the nicest hotels in the area and I expected more. Entering my room I was struck by how filthy the carpet was. There were stains from the door to the window. The room was otherwise clean but the carpet gave me a bad impression.

The Hotel mOdus is a boutique property in the center of Varna. It is modern, clean, and has a very friendly staff. Black Sea access to the promenade and public beach is directly across the street, and Varna’s pedestrianized shopping street is one block north of the property. At the moment access to the hotel by road is tricky due to road repairs/closures in the neighborhood so get directions from the hotel before you set out—GPS directions are currently unreliable. This hotel is not a beach resort, but for an urban stay with a little beach tossed in it is perfect. Highly recommended.
