Nice spacious apartment in Venice, close to the station. Good location for transport and an OK walk to the main areas for the fitter travellers. The induction to the apartment was very personal and useful, with much local information provided. The apartment was clean and modern. Although not particularly luxury, the bed was comfortable. There were a few maintenance issues such as one or two lights not working and air conditioning not functioning, but I'm sure the owners would have come back to fix these if I had contacted them. However there are a few things to note if booking this property. There is no daily maid service, it is a self catering apartment and a supplementary cleaning fee is charged at the property. It also states 'private spa tub' in the description (this was one of the features that attracted me to the property) however there is no spa, no tub/bath and certainly no spa tub! What they mean is a shower enclosure that has a semi-functioning steam device in it. I couldn't really get it to work apart from the pretty light (which was needed otherwise the cubicle was in complete darkness!). The only other disappointing point was that the windows had been left open so I spent the entire week hunting down mosquitos that had invaded and were hiding waiting to attack me at night. I managed to track and kill 12, but lost the battle with over 14 bites!
Otherwise a good apartment and if they sort those few things out, then I would return.
