The motel is convenient for catching the early morning ferry. Only option close by. Staff friendly in check in. Room clean. But room decor and bathroom are dated and for the price could use a Reno.

Overpriced accommodation

At almost $300 US dollars, the only notable thing about the motel was it’s convenience to the ferry if you are a walk on passenger.

Its a simple motel experience but what lifts it above the ordinary are: Location Cleanliness Easy Parking Naomi We could not praise Naomi highly enough. Friendly, helpful, welcoming, supportive. The only reason its not five stars for everything is it is a straightforward motel so dont expect, aircon a swimming pool and five star restaurant. Do expect to be at the centre of Horsehoe Bay nr the cafes and harbour in a clean and simole room with microwave, fridge a fan and comfortable bed and furniture.

Very near the ferries (you can watch them come and go) located in a very quaint village. The facilities are very clean, the bed comfortable and there's a beautiful view of the bay and the mountains behind it from the window and outside walkway. Convenient to walk around with a liquor store, bakery, gift shop and lots of food choices for dining.

This was an overnight stay for us after coming in from Nanaimo. We were able to go to Whistler and Vancouver from this single location which was perfect for us. Room was pleasant.
