Unauthorized overcharging. No cleaning days
I just left this inn with great disappointment. My booking is with Expedia-Hotels.com for 2 night stay during Aug 22-24 for £249. On Aug 22, my credit card was debited the said amount which should fully settled the bill. But on Aug 24, I was charged a further £54 without my permission. The staff refused to show me the booking record but just told me the rate should be £348 in total. There was an obvious system error that I have to handle with Expedia myself and it would definitely ruin my holiday. Besides, there us no bedroom cleaning between days which is strange for a so-called 3 star hotel. On Aug 22, at the moment when we checked in, I saw the staff kicking a family out at 10:30pm from a paid bedroom (of course the family had already settled in the bedroom with pyjamar changed) due to over-booking. It is an obviously mis-conduct hotel. Don't choose.
