Great beach vacation while visiting Amsterdam

Loved the property and location. Mid September water temp was brisk but not too cold to get a swim in. The beds were nice and comfy, the rooms were big and airy and the beach views were wonderful. Highly recommend.

Amazing view from all rooms

We have been there the second time. Amazing view to the sea from all rooms. Lovely decorated rooms and large kitchen also with sea view. The only issue we can complain, is the upper bathroom is a little bit to dark. But this is not really a problem 😉

the apartment is really very nice and the space is huge. The beds are really comfortable. In the kitchen everything is available that you need, there was coffee and spices, washing up liquid and dishwasher tabs. There was shower gel, hair shampoo and soap in the bathrooms. the view of the sea is breathtaking. We will Come back again .

Great Stay in Zandvoort

The Sunbeam apartment in Zandvoort was amazing. Our family had the best time. The views were absolutely stunning. We would watch the surfers and kite surfers from the living room every day. We honestly did not wan to leave. The apartment was huge and had lots of space for everyone to spread out. The location was perfect, On the beach with great views and just south of the shops and restaurants bordering the neighborhood. The Smiling host property managers were extremely helpful and gave us great suggestions for Zandvoort and the region. We have stayed in many VRBO in the past and this apartment was one of the best. Thank you for having us.

Tolle Lage mit traumhaften Blick

Wir haben das Sunbeam mit 6 Personen bewohnt. Das Apartment hat eine traumhafte Lage. Sehr schön hell sind die Räume und ansprechend ist die Einrichtung, alles ist in einem guten Zustand. Alle Zimmer waren ziemlich gleichwertig. Leider fehlt in dem Eckzimmer ein Kleiderschrank, es gibt nur eine Kommode. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Excellent, but ....

Lage und Größe des Maisonette-Apartments sind absolut perfekt. Es ist ruhig. Man hört nichts von Nachbarn. Der Gaskamin im Wohnzimmer machte eine schöne Atmosphäre. Die Betten sind bequem, allerdings nur je mit einem dickeren Kopfkissen ausgestattet. Auch gab es für 7 Nächte pro Bett lediglich ein kleines und ein größeres Handtuch. Weitere können nur gegen Aufpreis gebucht werden. Die Treppe in den oberen Stock ist sehr steil und eng und die Stufen sind kurz. Obacht! Das Zimmer mit den 2 Einzelbetten (90/100 cm breit) hat keinen Schrank, keinen Kleiderständer, keine Wand- oder Türhaken. Es ist eine Nespresso und keine Senseo Maschine vorhanden. Wie so häufig ist es die Summe der kleinen Dinge, die nicht stimmig sind für einen Preis von fast 500 EUR die Nacht, die den Gesamteindruck trüben. So war leider kein Tisch auf dem Balkon sowie nur 4 Stühle. Das Sammelsurium von (Werbe-)Gläsern und Becher (Exemplare von Ikea mit fehlender Glasur innen und relativ gute von Hema) war enttäuschend. Die Sauberkeit auf Fensterbänken, den Stuhlkissen und den Fußleisten kann verbessert werden. Beide Toilettensitze waren nicht ordentlich montiert und wackelten. Im unteren separaten WC gibt es keinen Haken für ein Gästehandtuch. Die Duschtür im oberen Bad hat keine Wand- oder Bodenabschlusslippe, so dass Wasser fast immer in den Raum läuft. Unter den Sofakissen und in den Polsterecken war schon länger nicht gesaugt worden. Wie gesagt, gezahlter Preis prägt Erwartungshaltung.

Nie wieder Buchung von SmilingHost

Nach der Bezahlung des vollständigen Betrags, 2 Wochen vor Reiseantritt die Nachricht "Bauarbeiten am Objekt, kein Balkon, kein Meeresblick". Wir wurden für den gleichen Preis auf ein alternatives Objekt umgebucht in der Stadtmitte (Radhuisplein 4C). Die Bilder sehr vielversprechend. Geräumiges Wohnzimmer mit viel Tageslicht, herrschaftliche Zimmer, etc. Vor Ort dann nach und nach Ernüchterung. Die Jalousien der großen Fenster im Wohnzimmer funktioniert nicht. Dadurch wurde das Wohnzimmer (gleichzeitig Essbereich und Küche) bei 17° Außentemperatur zu einem Gewächshaus mit 28° Hitze. Da die Agentur fußläufig erreichbar war sind wir hingegangen und haben um Hilfe gebeten. Antwort "Wir klären das und schicken Ihnen eine Mail mit Hilfe". Diese Mail kam nie. Glücklicherweise sanken die Außen- und damit auch die Innentemperaturen nach 2 Tagen auf ein erträgliches Maß. Beim Checkout wurde die Dame der Agentur auf Ihre Frage "War denn alles O.K.?" erneut darauf hingewiesen. Zudem auf weitere, für den Objektpreis völlig unangemessene Schäden. Der Ofen so verfettet, dass er aufgrund von Qualm nicht brauchbar ist. Badezimmerfließen, Duschkabine, Badewanne und Waschbecken verdreckt, gesplittert, verrostet und verkalkt. Böden und Oberflächen extrem dreckig. Mehrfach darauf angesprochen/geschrieben war die knappe Antwort, gegen das Wetter könne man nichts machen und der Zustand des Objekts ist nun mal vom Besitzer so übergeben worden. Eine versprochene Kompensation haben wir nie erhalten.

Der Aufenthalt im Sunbeam Appartment war sehr schön. Super ausgestattete Wohnung in einer Top Lage. Wir waren zu acht, vier Erwachsene und vier Kleinkinder. Gerne wieder :) auch der Kontakt mit smiling hosts war immer super!!

Fijn familie appartement

Zeer prettig ruim appartement met een mooi uitzicht op het strand! De ligging aan de boulevard en het strand is super, maar daardoor is er wel wat herrie van het verkeer al vroeg in de ochtend. In de zomer zou een airco wel fijn zijn dan kunnen de ramen dicht blijven. De ontvangst was zeer vriendelijk en bij vragen werd er snel gereageerd! Wij hebben een heerlijk weekend gehad!
