Ruhe pur

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir haben viele hilfreiche Tipps bekommen. Man ist auf ein Auto angewiesen. Mit diesem kann man dann aber sehr gut die Umgebung erkunden. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in 10 Min. Erreichbar. Man ist in 15 Minuten am regionalen Bahnhof (Parkplatz ist kostenfrei) und damit dann in einer Stunde in Barcelona.Darüber hinaus ist Sitges (30 Min. Autofahrt) sehr zu empfehlen.Wir empfehlen es gerne weiter.

We had an unbelievable stay at Monika & Enrique's house in the country. It was quiet, comfortable and beautiful, and the views were spectacular, The fact that Enrique is a sculpture and the vineyards surrounding the house are adorned by his work was a delightful surprise. Monika was extremely easy to communicate with, and gave so many helpful tips for places to see and do in the area. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

This is what you’re looking for ~ Book it NOW!

We saw Madrid, Barcelona, Figueres, and Zaragoza, but my wife and I both agreed, that our stay at this property, was among our favorite memories of our first trip to Spain! As you leave the small town and begin ascending up the steep hills to get to this estate, you’ll leave the paved road and begin driving on a dirt road. You’ll keep climbing, then you’ll be looking at vineyards in the valley below, with a backdrop of mountains. When you turn into the winding driveway lined with Enrique’s sculptures, you’re going to have that “O.M.G.” moment, realizing that you’ve made a perfect choice for your stay in the Penedes wine region where sparkling Cava is produced. No words I can share will do the property justice, you’ll just have to stay here to see it for yourself. That scene of vineyards and mountains will also be what you’ll see from your patio and bedroom window. It’s just breathtaking to see, and the silence, will bring serenity to your state of being. The icing on the cake, is that Monika and Enrique are absolutely lovely individuals! I’ve friended them on both Facebook and Instagram, and I am not exaggerating when I say, we hope to return to Spain someday, so we can see them, and to relax at their home once again. Absoluter Wohlfühlort

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Can Maginet sehr genossen. Die Lage ist 1a, mitten in Kunst und Wein gelegen, eine ideale "Base" für Ausflüge in die Umgebung, an die Küste, in die Berge oder nach Barcelona. Das Gastgeberpaar kümmert sich liebevoll und zuvorkommend, auf Fragen wird umgehend reagiert. Dabei sind beide aber äußerst diskret und zurückhaltend. Wir können die Ferienwohnung mit gutem Gewissen unbedingt weiterempfehlen.:-)

Très satisfaits

Appartement très confortable avec une immense terrasse offrant une vue magnifique sur la montagne et les vignobles mais aussi sur les sculptures du maitre des lieux disséminées sur la propriété. Idéalement situé pour visiter Tarragone, Sitges, Barcelone et proche des plages. Tout est rassemblé pour passer un séjour reposant. Les propriétaires sont accueillants et prévenants n'hésitant pas à donner des conseils de visites.

Wunderschöne Wohnung in traumhafter Lage

Wir hatten 10 Tage gebucht und dann unseren Aufenthalt noch 3 Tage verlängert, da wir diesen wunderschönen Ort noch nicht verlassen wollten. Die Wohnung bietet alles, was man benötigt und ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Lage ist wunderbar und absolut ruhig inmitten eines Skulpturenparks. Monika und Enrique Asensi sind die idealen Vermieter, man ist geneigt zu sagen: Gastgeber. Ausserordentlich freundlich und sympathisch, diskret und "unsichtbar", aber bei Fragen sofort und sehr hilfreich zur Stelle. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und können diesen Ort uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Des weiteren können wir all die vielen positiven Kommentare bestätigen. Vielen Dank an Monika und Enrique Asensi!

Just the sound of the Cicadas...

Airy, spacious, open, bright, comfy appartment..everything you need..set in wonderful Catalonian countryside with a perfect view of the hills ....a place for those who want to relax and walk along the paths among the vineyards..maybe cook a little bit and sit on the baclony ....Sitges beach 40mins away for those wanting a nice seaside town..Carrefour 15 mins away.... Monika is super helpful.. and the prescence of sculptures by Enrique suggest further contemplation..a really great place to stay and unwind...

Heerlijke locatie in het hart van de Penedès

Hartelijke ontvangst door de eigenaren Monika en Enrique, alles was heel goed geregeld. Heerlijk appartement met prachtig uitzicht op de groene bergen, wijngaarden en de mooie kunstwerken die Enrique maakt. Wij hebben heerlijke fietstochten gemaakt in de prachtige omgeving en enkele van de talloze wijnmakers bezocht. Wij hebben 3 weken genoten!

Paradies auf Erden!!!

Es war eine erholsame Zeit in einer wunderschönen und ruhigen Gegend. Die Die Wohnung besticht durch die wunderbare Ruhe und die herrliche Aussicht. Die Angaben vom Inserat haben meine Erwartungen bei Weitem übertroffen. Das Anwesen ist sehr geschmack- und liebevoll bis ins Detail hergerichtet. Die Einrichtung und die Ausstattung ist perfekt und praktisch. Es hat mir an nichts gefehlt. Ohne viele Worte möchten ich mich nach ein paar sehr schönes Wochen allen positiven Bewertungen ohne Einschränkungen anschließen. Ich möchte es nicht versäumen nochmals den supernetten Vermietern für die wundervollen Woche zu danken.

Beautiful Stay in a Beautiful Place

Absolutely fabulous home stay!

Beautiful accommodation with breathtaking views of the vineyard and mountains. Lovely, peaceful and quiet yet close proximity to many of the surrounding attractions. Hot, sunny and beautiful!

Such a gorgeous place to stay for our last three nights in Spain! The property and the apartment was everything that we expected and more! Very clean, and well equipped for us to cook in for all three evenings - after mostly restaurant food for >2 weeks. Comfy bed, large bathroom, lots of space and lovely views. Monika met us in town as pre-arranged, and then we never saw or heard anyone much at all until we left. Peaceful! Went in to Barcelona on the train from Vilafranca del Penedes for one of the days. Large free parking lot adjacent/around the corner from the train station, where we were able to park for the day. Were going to go to Sitges the next day, but as it was hot and we'd both been before, we opted to stay in and read and wander around the grounds admiring Enrique's unique and beautiful sculptures. The title says it all. A little off the beaten path but worth the effort. Views and sculpture garden are magnificent! Everything you need for a peaceful and romantic experience. Appartement au calme avec belle vue (25 min des plages de Sitges)

Notre séjour chez Monika et Enrique était parfait ! L’appartement est fonctionnel et dispose d’une magnifique terrasse avec une vue splendide sur les vignes et les montagnes. La maison se trouve à 25 minutes des plages de Sitges ce qui peut paraître un peu loin mais cela vaut le coup ! Nous avons été très bien accueillit et nous remercions Monika et Enrique pour les conseils sur les activités et évènements aux alentours Nous recommandons vivement cet appartement

Eine Woche Erholung im privaten Paradies

Diese Ferienwohnung ist die perfekte Umgebung für Erholung in Mitten der Natur. Etwas abgelegen und trotzdem sehr gut erreichbar, eröffnet sich nach ein paar hundert Metern Feldweg eine Oase der Ruhe. Das Haus ist umgeben von Weinparzellen und dazwischen laden die Skulpturen von Enrique Asensi zum wandeln ein. Die Wohnung mit großer Terrasse ist sehr ästhetisch und liebevoll eingerichtet und passt sich sehr gut in die Landschaft ein. Das Zusammenspiel aus Tradition, Kultur und moderner Architektur ist sehr gelungen. Trotz der Abgeschiedenheit sind sowohl Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants als auch kulturelle Highlights gut erreichbar. Strand, Barcelona und mittelalterliche Städte und Dörfer - alles ist gut erreichbar. Nicht zu vergessen, die vielen Weingüter im Herzen des Penedès. Monika und Enrique sind exzellente Gastgeber. Schon vor der Anreise wurden wir gut beraten und zum Ziel geleitet. Vielfältige Informationen in der Unterkunft laden zum Stöbern ein und helfen bei der Planung der Tage. Die Wohnung ist ideal für Singles oder Paare, die Erholung vom Alltag suchen und dabei Kunst und Natur als Inspiration schätzen.

Tourismus trifft Kunst - ganz unerwARTet!

Wir haben als Ausgangspunkt unserer Spanienrundreise eine Ferienwohnung in der Nähe von Barcelona gesucht, die nach dem Trubel der Großstadt Ruhe verspricht. All' die touristisch wichtigen Aspekte der Ferienwohnung sind in der Objektbeschreibung perfekt beschrieben. Es ist eine Oase der Ruhe. Das Zentrum von Barcelona ist per Park&Ride in ca. 70 min erreichbar. (ca 10min bis zum P&R Parkplatz, ca.1h Fahrtzeit per Vorortbahn). Die Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe reichen für viele Urlaube. Eine Begegnung mit der Kunstwelt, den Aufenthalt in einem Weinberg oder besser einem Skulpturenpark haben wir nicht erwartet und dieses war einzigartig. Wer Galerien und Skulpturen mag, wer einen Einblick in das Schaffen und Lebenswerk eines Künstlers erhalten möchte ist hier ohnehin richtig. Das gilt aber auch wenn man kein Kunstkenner ist und nur wenig bis gar keine Berührung mit der Kunstszene hat. Abends bei einem Glas Wein in der Ruhe einzelne Skulpturen auf sich wirken zu lassen ist eine Erfahrung wert. Hier ist das Lebenswerk eines - uns bisher unbekannten - Künstler-Ehepaars sicht- und erfahrbar. Enrique und Monika Asensi sind zurückhaltend und offen zugleich. Der Urlaub wird uns unvergessen sein. PS: Wir haben erst während des Urlaubs nach Enrique Asensi "gegoogelt" und von den Ausstellungen und Publikationen erfahren. Sollte es sich ergeben, werden wir sicher eine Ausstellung in Köln oder "sonst wo" besuchen. Vielen Dank an Monika und Enrique!
