Relatively easy to find, despite sat nav giving us the wrong location! Beautifully situated in the tranquil forest, with majestic mountains all around. The instructions given to us by the owners to find the Bunkhouse were misleading, which made for a rather confusing 5 minutes on arrival. The Bunkhouse is snug and basic which we were expecting, however the big drawback is that it is directly connected to the communal drying room, which is like a furnace. With a window that only opens a few inches, we were unable to get a good night's sleep as the room was absolutely sweltering. Also quite of a lot of noise emanating from the kitchen/washing machine in the room next to us. The Claichaig Inn is a ten minute walk up the road, where we had a delicious evening meal and drinks - well worth a visit. We would definitely avoid staying in the Bunkhouse in future, but would certainly consider the other adjacent cottages which looked lovely.
