At the midnight, we booked a room via Expedia as we needed a room to stay overnight. We made the booking about 15 min before we arrived the hotel. We tried to check in but reception asked us to wait. We showed our confirmation email to the hotel and gave the credit card for deposit. But still we could not check in. We understood that the hotel needed some time to get the system updated. So we waited at the reception until the system updated. Again, we showed our email confirmation but the receptionist not accept. We waited for more than 30 mins, they still could not find our booking in ststem. We were upset as we gave the credit card as deposit and email confirmation but the staff did not trust us. Another 15 mins, they still said no booking was found. As we gave them credit card deposit, the staff finally let us check in. We were upset with the slow syncing of system between hotel and Expedia. Also we were upset that hotel did not trust the email confirmation. Finally we had room after 1 am. When we checked out, the hotel asked us again for our email confirmation. It watsed my time. Bad feeling of being suspected.
