Great stay

It’s work in progress, but some renovations are evident, even in rooms as yet to be completed. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Shower was great (even though bathroom not updated yet). Right in the middle of town. Walk to everything. Owner was great at check in, explaining future developments. Pool has been upgraded. Definitely recommend and we will stay again.

Great spot to stop on your way North or South, very quiet with little to no highway noise, and close to really good dining options. Room is a little dated but the price was right, they even had room for me to park my trailer off the street.

Comfortable and convenient

Centrally located but quiet. Comfortable, spacious room. Would happily stay again. Reception rarely seems open (have to phone a mobile number), so lacks a bit of personal service - otherwise all good. Hotel, takeaways and supermarkets all in walking distance.

The shower stall leaked a bit and the shower had stuff in it that had come down from the fan. The room had an overwhelming smell of talcum powder but I am sensitive to fragrance. The size of the room and cleanliness of the rest of the room was great.

Older style unit, clean but very noisy from heavy traffic also could hear occupants of adjacent rooms. (fellow travelers were not being loud). Reception pleasant and helpful.

Nice comfortable stay in the centre of town

Located right in the centre of town, the Clock Tower was a nice comfortable stay. The room was huge and both the room and bathroom were clean. There was a table and chairs with 2 longe chairs for watching TV. Room had a fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, toaster, kettle and tea and coffee. Good off street parking, good air conditioning and good secure Wifi. There is a good pub across the road with a good Bistro. Restaurants and shops walking distance. Filtered water and a guest laundry available near reception. The bed and pillows were comfortable with well positioned light and switch for reading. Shower had good hot water and pressure. Definitely stay again.

So much to say about this amazing place! Let’s get the worse out of the way first. Of course being as old as it is the place is a living time capsule so not everything is brand new. And it fine. Ok now for all the best things. THE amazing staff, super friendly and helpful. Smack bang in the middle of town, 30sec walk to IGA, 2min walk to woolies and BWS. Not to mention just a couple of blocks from the amazing Golden Sea Dragon Chinese Restaurant. A Coona must!

Is the accommodation flash and New? No Is the room clean? Spotless as clean as any 5 star I have stayed Is the location convenient? This motel was chosen only because of its location to dining facilities. We were not disappointed. We has a few options within 100 metres. Was the staff friendly? Definitely. Not only friendly but informative. On arrival we were given an overview of the town and nearby dining options. In summary this motel does not offer dining facilities but a number of options are available within easy walking distance. Like many motels of this vintage the room was tired, but immaculately clean and very well presented. There was no traffic noise from the nearby highway, the bed was comfortable, and tell me, how many motels offer a recliner lounge to watch TV?? Highly recoomended and great value for money.
