Newly renovated and located right next door to Star Lake and the Green Mountain trails, this historic 1843 home is your perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. With 4+ bedrooms including 2 queen beds, 2 full beds, and 1 sofa bed, this cozy retreat is perfect for families or groups of friends. You'll also find 2 full bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms, one with a relaxing clawfoot bathtub.

Mr. Bear's cabin is 12 min from Okemo Skiing, and 30-40 minutes from Bromley and Killington, and right next to the VAST snowmobile trail. You can play pool on the restored table, hang in the renovated kitchen, or take a pic with Mr. Bear. Tons of games and activities provided. The house is situated right on a creek and behind a large field and right next to the Belmont General Store. Star Lake is a 2 minute walk away and can be accessed for kayaking and paddle boarding. There is nice restored pool table as well as a lot of games, as well as a large TV room with Roku TV. The Wifi is VTEL - fastest in the country - which makes this great for work from home with two separate work areas.

A few guarantees - 1) I won't require you to clean ANYTHING when you leave (although keeping the house tidy is appreciated!).. I charge a cleaning fee because I provide my cleaners a real living wage and I do not expect you to lift a finger on your vacation! - 2) there isn't a big list of house rules waiting for you when you get here.. certainly I want my house treated with respect, but I trust you to do the right thing and won't outline a whole bunch of do's and do-nots for you, and 3) I will be responsive and active in your stay! I care about my guests and being a good host. If there is ever an issue I will be there ready to assist.
