Fairmont weather in October is still awesome for golfing/hiking with the Riverside golf resort closing the end of October. November is one of the best months to hit the Hot Springs in Radium and Fairmont. December, bring the family and enjoy world class skiing. Ring in the New Year with fireworks as you make resolutions for another memorable year.
My Home is professionally cleaned after every guest stay. This is a 1 level, fully equipped 3 bedroom home with comfy beds located on the 12th Tee at Riverside Golf Resort. Only 4 minutes away from Fairmont Hotsprings, Hoodoos and walking trails. My beautiful home has everything to provide for a refreshing vacation. The home is situated on a spacious quarter acre surrounded by spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains to the east and the Purcell Mountains to the west. If you like to play sports, within a block you can sign up for a round of golf at one of the top 5 courses in the Columbia Valley or take your racquets with you and play a round of tennis, making this home an ideal spot for your next vacation. Finish off your day at the World famous Fairmont Hotsprings just a 4 minute drive away from my home. The Hotsprings are tucked away in the slopes of the magnificent BC Rocky Mountains and open year-round. With authentic cuisine, golf courses, ski hills, and freshwater lakes making up acres of scenic nature, you and your family can enjoy skiing, golfing, biking, fishing, hiking, spa treatments, and much more. Added for your individual privacy, are Roku TV’s in every Bedroom with Netflix loaded for your personal viewing.

Our stay at this cozy home was absolutely wonderful! The location is fantastic, and the layout of the house is absolutely perfect for young and old alike. What was once a nice house has fallen into disrepair due to years of neglect and lack of maintenance. The old Cedar shack roof is in horrible shape and covered with years of pine needles, it is a fire hazard! Also, there are open wire outlets on the walls. A large heat/fan register shows evidence of a fire at one time as it is all burnt. The wooden widow castings are horribly rotting as well as the door frames. The floor is lifting and had shards sticking up, dangerous for people and pets. The blinds are in very bad shape and need replacing. I doubt this home is even up to safety code and the owner states he is in the construction business..shameful. Outside not much better with piles of debris. Not as serious but annoying as there was no paper towel, salt, soap, and other necessities that were listed. Old beds topped with cheap pieces of foam. The house is just sad from years of neglect and it feels that way. It has a odd stench to it and the dishwasher smelled awful.This is a classic take money in but put nothing back. I feel it was badly misrepresented on VRBO and by the owner. I have pictures and would love to post them to show just how much damage is in this home. A very disappointing rental indeed, but the area is nice. I am not one of the friends or family reviews obviously. Renters beware!

Beautiful house, close to the hot springs. House was very clean located close to the golf course, great for walking and overall access to the area. There could have been a few more amenities (shampoo/conditioner) but overall a great experience. Host was easy to get ahold of and check on us to ensure we had everything we needed.

The cozy and comfortable home is well appointed with all that you may need. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, solid furniture and a fabulous location amidst the gorgeous mountains. There is so much to do for the entire family, golf, hot pools, mini golf, zip lining, 2 lakes with beaches, horseback riding. Fairmont hot springs and this home is perfect for a family vacation.

This house is a gem. It is very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and in a great neighborhood. We stayed here with our six-year old daughter and two dogs. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything you need to cook your meals. It was perfect for our mini ski vacation.

Place is ok for couples but not for a family. Fairmont hot springs is closed for anyone not staying at the property, so we didn’t go. This place needs to be cleaned more. The toilet on the guest bedroom needs to be fixed. The stay was overall just ok. I texted Darren the owner but he didn’t reply to my questions.

This house needs regular maintenance and careful cleaning. Someone needs to do a careful walkthrough. The handle on the toilet in the main bath was broken, "fixed" with a bit of tape. This should have been discovered by the cleaners. We had to remove the lid and flush manually. The carpets were very badly soiled. When we brought this to the owner's attention, they were cleaned the next day, but it never should have been rented in this condition. Empty bottles of oil, etc and crumbs in the cupboards. The BBQ had not been cleaned and was in very poor condition. Assuring us that it would be replaced after we left was not satisfactory. An earlier comment mentioned the 4 ft weeds by the front door - still there. Mouse droppings on the back porch. This house could be a wonderful place to stay, but it was a disappointment. We agree with the earlier comments. We requested a partial rebate on our rental fee due to all of the issues, large and small, but were refused this courtesy.
