Property was excellent. Lamp in bedroom with twin beds didn't work, and lack of overhead lights, but other that property was excellent.

The property itself was clean and well-maintained. There was no whisk, but plenty of skillets and cookie sheets. We loved that the beach was just beyond the pool. There was a noise sometimes coming from the locked A/C closet. The king bed was comfortable. One of the twin bed squeeked. We enjoyed eating on the balcony. The wifi worked fine once we figured out the correct network. Overall, we were pleased and would stay here again!

Cozy and Comfortable

It was cozy with enough space we needed for our family of 4. The property is older and there was definitely signs of wear and tear. The master bathroom tub was very slow to drain, the door to the hallway in the master bedroom had a lot of light coming through at night, and the balcony chairs had rust. We did enjoy being in Fort Morgan without all the commercialization and all the people were friendly. I also suggest paying for parking in advance. I may have overlooked it in an email but we had groceries in the car and it delayed us getting them quickly to the fridge. Again, that could’ve been my mistake but if you’re staying here make sure you pay for it ahead of time to save yourself time. I did like that they had bags of ice to purchase by the pool. That really helped not having to go off the property. Overall it’s a decent place for the money.

Beach Week

We always enjoy the Gulf Shores Plantation property. This was our first time staying at this condo. Had everything we needed, good kitchen area and clean. A little crowded with furniture for our taste. A few minor bathroom repairs are needed & ice maker wasn’t working. Overall enjoyed our stay!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic we arrived went straight to the condo our key code was sent the day before. Condo was exactly like pictures awesome layout, condo very close to beach has excellent facilities (laundry, hot tub, exercise room) restaurant, pools, and plenty of parking.

Excellent area, questionable room choice

There was no plastic shower current in the master bathroom. A closet door fell off its hinges (no one was hurt.) The air conditioner vents were closed and we could not open them so the room remained too warm. There were several items left from previous guests suggesting the room had not been cleaned (especially under the beds.) We found old food under the couch. The garbage disposal did not seem to have been run recently and we could not locate the way to turn it on. Some of the dishes in the cabinet had bits of leftover food on them. We have stayed at Plantation Dunes many times and the overall location is wonderful, but I would not choose this particular room again.

Weekend get away

Condo was clean and had everything we needed. The balcony was kinda cluttered. There are a LOT of people here. A little too crowded for my taste. Never saw anybody who worked there. Lots of trash on the grounds and not many trash cans. The view from the balcony was nice.

Great, quick getaway!

Overall, this property was great! The location to the beach was wonderful. The cleanliness of the common areas and grounds were great! A few suggestions that might help future guests.... maybe a box fan or ceiling fan in master or guest bedrooms. We travel quite a bit and have had wonderful success with varying families leaving items in the condo or home for use such as beach umbrellas, beach towels, simple items such as salt/pepper, etc. and this home did not offer any of those such items. All beds did creak quite a bit, both boys mentioned it in their rooms and my husband and I noticed it in the master every time we got in or out or moved in the night. Overall, it was a great rental for a quick getaway. Thank you!

Extremely dirty

We were really looking forward to our getaway in a nice condo on the beach. As soon as we opened the door after checking in, the disappointment began. I took photos of how dirty it was if you’d like to see. The ceiling fan is caked in dust, the living room chair has big stains on it. The refrigerator had spills and crumbs in it, the inside of the stove door is caked with grease, the bathroom cabinet shelves have rings of some substance on them. The dining room and living room ceilings have stains everywhere. When you pay high dollar for rental and walk into this, it’s more than disappointing. It needs to be checked out by rental agency before it’s rented out again. I wouldn’t recommend staying in this unit at all.

Great Beach and Pool but NOT SO Great Condo

The common areas of the condo building were clean and nice looking. The condo itself was set up nicely but upon further inspection it needed a very good deep clean. There were no sheets or pillow cases for the pull out couch, no extra towels for our family of 5, and only one bathroom had travel toiletries. We thought by the listing that there was a washer and dryer located in the condo, but they are shared down stairs and don't forget your change. There was trash under the Master Bed, coffee maker was broken, large stains on the chairs in the living room, and no weather stripping around the doors to the hallway so you could hear and see people passing. This was a short (36 hour) surprise trip for our 3 boys and while the beach and pool were amazing the condo fell very short on expectations. Next time we will rent a house a few miles away, for even less per night.

Nice Stay

The condo was very clean as was the resort! Plenty for the entire family to do on the resort. The resort is off the beaten path so to get to grocery and nightlife it is a 30 minute drive. Not a problem for our family! I would have put 5 stars, but the walls to the hallway of building are so thin you could hear everything - people could hear your conversations and you could hear all the noise from the hallway.
